She did a beautiful job on my wedding dress so I could actually WALK in it, really quickly and affordably.

I have never paid for such poor work. I took in three pairs of slacks to be altered at the waist. One came back with a 3” hole where the seam was not sewn properly. One came back without the elastic put back in and the pull string missing. One pair fit as I had expected..ONE out of THREE. It’s my fault that I did not inspect the work before I paid. All the slacks were not even folded in the bad. It should have tipped me off.

The owner was rude and argumentative, overcharged, business hours were incorrect, tried to drop her work on her porch for pickup rather than let me try on, and she requires calling ahead in general, which isn't in the listing. This all might have been something I could overlook if her work was halfway decent, but this wasn't the case, either! One pair of pants was hemmed much too short/ruined and will need to be cut into shorts, the other was hemmed incorrectly, even after we went over it multiple times. She continued arguing with me even after botching the first pair. I was exasperated by the second pair still being wrong and just wanted out of there at that point. I regret trusting Kahn with even simple alterations and cannot imagine taking anything of real value here. Go somewhere else, save yourself!

I was charged $300 to have my wedding dress BOTCHED. I wanted my straps replaced and for a button to be sewn on/ missing buttons to be sewn on. • all she did to the straps were tie them in knots and sew the knit together. It looks tacky and hideous. • the one button she sewed back on was extremely misaligned. Way off to the side. How is it possible to be that bad at lining the button under/ over the others to be in a straight line??? • replacement buttons were a completely different shade, material and size. I could have made her fix the dress, but with the 0% of competence and care she put into my dress, I decided to collect my loss and never let her touch it again. She also returned it extremely wrinkled. Imagine over paying for your dress to be ruined. Now, I am warning everyone NOT to go to this woman. Wish I would’ve seen the 1 star reviews before seeing her and giving her hundreds to cause stress and do a terrible job 🥲 she must report bad reviews as spam to be removed, so I’m adding my payment as proof of my rip off. 👎
