Extremely disappointing experience with Newcastle Custom Electronics. This company was engaged by LG to carry out a warranty repair on my fridge, and the process was poorly managed from start to finish. It took approximately two weeks for parts to be ordered, followed by a further week before the repair was carried out, leaving the appliance unusable for an unreasonable period of time. Communication throughout was consistently inadequate. Phone calls were often unanswered, and when contact was made, the information provided was repetitive and unhelpful, with no clear updates, timeframes, or evidence that the matter was being actively progressed. Customer service fell well below an acceptable standard. The person answering the phone was rude, disengaged, and showed little interest in assisting or resolving the issue, which only added to an already frustrating situation. For a company handling warranty repairs for a major brand, a basic level of professionalism, accountability, and communication should be expected. Unfortunately, this was not delivered. LG should seriously reconsider using this provider, as the level of service reflects poorly on their brand. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Newcastle Custom Electronics.

Poor service. Not very friendly at all. It took over 3 weeks to chase the report and now they are saying all communication must be done via email. If only I had read the other reviews prior to this, I would have avoided them all together. They say they have been in business for 20years. I'm not sure how.

LG sent us to NCE for a TV repair. They contacted me to confirm and ask what the problem was so they knew what to have on hand. 2 weeks went by while those parts arrived. The tec arrived at 6 pm after an obvious long day & got our TV running quickly and professionally, all credit to him. I'm way happy with the outcome & service.

Looks like all reviews are the same. This guy came and repaired my tv under warranty and left it worse than before. Asked him to return and fix it only to be told I need the LG engineer to guide him how to fix it. This was a month ago. He has refused to come back even when LG issued another repair order, he told me it’s just a number and I don’t take orders from a call centre. Stay clear of this company. Bad news

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This company is absolutely useless in customer service. I do not recommend. Just look at previous reviews! Our brand new LG fridge stopped working 6 weeks ago (obviously LG problem, not NCE problem), however, we've had confirmation of the part being in for nearly 3 weeks now.. we call every second day and only ever get 'we'll call you back" with no call back. We get told they're busy and can't arrange a date. This company couldn't lead a horse to water in a flood! Take your time and money elsewhere!
