My son and I took my dog witha broken toe nail and the staff was very sympathetic and rushed to help our dog Widow throughout the visit. I will be taking my baby to see this clinic again for all future needs. Thank you!!

I appreciated open communication and transparency. When attempting to clip his nails, he mouthed but did not bite. Situation was explained to me and permission was requested to muzzle him. I granted permission and nail trim was a success (though he loudly whimpered his protest for all to hear). Other professionals have been unable to trim his nails. I much appreciate the first successful nail trim in the nearly 4 years he has been with me. As for health issue for which I brought him in, questions were answered. Great explanations were given.

Wonderful staff!! Just recently started going here after moving north of the river. I'd gone to the same place in KC for 7 years and thought I was happy with my vet experience, but after just 2 visits at North Oak I realize how much I was missing. They are so attentive and I feel heard even if I'm being a ridiculous dog-mom who spends too much time worrying about her dogs. Dr. Lazenby will personally call you to talk about results and help you figure out next steps. They are also about half the cost of my old place for some things like xrays and blood work. And again I was happy at my old place and only switched because I moved. Really has been a great experience so far.

We decided to get our first family animal, a cat, over a year ago and we were in search of a reputable veterinarian. We were recommended to North Oak Animal Hospital and we definitely made the right choice. We've encountered some unexpected visits and each of the doctors have been great. If they were unable to treat our cats(we now have 2) they've directed us of where to go. They are great and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone with pets!

Definitely 5 stars. They were able to take my dog, Milly today as a walk-in and a new patient when they had a full schedule. So Milly was considered an emergency since they worked her in. I was very pleased with Dr. Evans and the tech who took care of Milly. You could see the love they have for our pets. We were in and out in one hour or less. I was very pleased with the bill which included the emergency fee. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a vet. Yes, Milly got coned so she can't lick the meds off her hiny.
