My husband and I seek out and participate in free walking tours when we first arrive in a new city to get our footing on history, culture and attractions. Almost without exception, we find these free tours (pay what you feel the tour is worth to you at the end) are led by highly knowledgeable and entertaining tour guides. Our Ottawa tour on June 14 led by Craig, the owner, was exceptionally enjoyable and enlightening, definitely a highlight of our visit to Ottawa. A native of Ottawa, he is very knowledgeable about the history, culture, government and offered great tips on attractions, things to do. Many thanks Craig.
