Food was OK but needs attention to details. Arancine were crispy on the outside but the rice inside was gummy, lacking any individual grains of rice, almost like mashed potatoes rather than rice. The rice was also under-seasoned and bland. The chicken parmesan was a thinly sliced cutlet but needed some texture - the bread coating on the cutlet was not at all crispy and was soggy. I suspect that the chicken was not freshly prepared to order but was fried a long time in advance and simply assembled when I ordered. (As a side note - I was told that the chicken parm would include both pasta and a vegetable side, but I only got pasta and NO veggies). All that said, the tomato sauce on both the Arancine and chicken parm had fresh tomato and basil flavor.
Our first time here is wonderful experience. Staff was really nice and personable, I can tell they are genuinely happy to be there. They are a pleasure to interact with. It was a full house and busy but we got seated fairly quickly even at 7pm on a Friday night. I'm surprised the food was really good. This is definitely a authentic Italian place, quality of flavors are different and tastefully better than your average pasta dishes out there. Our server lady was a delight and recommend me one of her favorite cocktails. Definitely different and I enjoy it. The setting is beautiful, only issue is that the restaurant can be loud with people, of course its busy. Price is definitely higher end, but if you want a date night, dine for a special occasion, I highly recommend it.
Everything 10/10! The service was spectacular, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. They have a parking lot across the street, and even an employee to help you cross the street. The hostess was very friendly. Atmosphere was warm, family friendly, and very spacious. Right now they have lots of beautiful holiday decorations! Food was amazing, from drinks to main dishes to dessert. We had the chicken parmigiana and the pansotti. For dessert we had the tiramisu (1000/10) and the cheesecake, both were delicious. Service was fast and very friendly. Everything was very clean. Definitely a must. And definitely a place to return to!
Looking for some good authentic Italian while I was in town for business. Luckily, some great reviews pointed me in the right direction. It was easy to find but parking can be a little difficult. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They took us right to a table for a late lunch. Within 2 minutes we had waters and some great fresh bread. The inside is a combination of covered outside and inside seating. Started with bruschetta and side salads. Both were tasty and came out promptly. The highlight was our entrees. They smelled awesome and came out piping hot. I had the farfalle mafiusa, which is now tie pasta with mushroom and homemade Italian sausage. It was perfect! 🤩 I loved every bite and the sausage was delicious! My buddy had the sausage/mushrooms/peppers and said it was really good as well. I had to try their tiramisu after the waiter said it was made in house. Wow 🤯!!!! It was very good and fresh. I put this on my list to come back next time I’m in town.
We attended a baby shower event in Palermo's BEAUTIFUL patio. When you see Palermo from the outside, it is not much. But that changes as soon as you step inside. You have to experience it! Anyway, my review is slanted towards the venue and the AMAZING hospitality we received. The food was of course top notch! We loved the Zucchini fries, salad, pasta and pizza! But what we loved more was their wonderful service. They had their staff take drinks orders and serve up food. They also took care of boxing up left over food for guests to take home and served up dessert! Couldn't have asked for a more heartwarming experience! Consider Palermo for you next event! The only issue is with parking. Once overflow parking across the street fills up, you will need to either find street parking or park at Orchard Supply which is about a 5-7 mins walk to the restaurant.
