PAPPADEAUX 610 THEY COULD NEVER MAE ME HATE YOU! And Journey is why. She showed composure, grace, and gave me and my family excellent service for my birthday even after being sat near closing time. She was patient, quick, and attentive. And get into pic! THE FOOD NEVER MISSES. One thing the Pappas Bros know how to do, is BE CONSISTENT! Check out Pappadeaux on South Loop near NRG and if youre lucky, JOURNEY will have an open table for you! Thanks Pappadeaux!
I had the crawfish ettoufee and it was good. There was a decent amount of crawfish on a soft bed of rice. The staff was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is very much like a lively lunch vibe. It surprisingly got filled up even before noon. I'll have to come back to try the gator nuggets.
This was our first visit to Pappadeaux‘s. We didn’t know what to expect as far as food or prices, but everything was very delicious and reasonably priced. Our server, Briana B, was very attentive and even offered us a dessert for it being our first time at Pappadeaux. Will definitely be returning, especially for the crab and spinach dip. I could go and eat only that and be satisfied.
Hard to believe it was my first time at a Pappadeux..we arrived and we're told it would be a 15 to 20 min wait though there was several empty tables on a week night. We were eventually seated and another 10 mins later our server came by, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu. We got the sea bass and tilapia..both were very good. The bill was quite high mostly due to the sea bass but it was a delicious meal and our drinks were great too
Went to Pappadeaux’s (near NRG) on Sunday 9/21/25. Service was just okay, but I think our server may have been fairly new. However, I’ve been getting the same dish for years. Therefore, I know the amount you’re supposed to get as well as the quality. Mississippi Catfish Opelousas $40.95 This day, I don’t know what happened….had this huge white plate and barely 3/4 had food on it. The other fourth of the plate houses a wedge of lemon. Sometimes a manager will walk the floor asking how everything was, but not this day. After inquiring that week, I found out the manger that day was Taylor Pringle, I believe. In all honesty, I wasn’t in the mood to complain that day because it was busy and I wasn’t looking for a scene. But quality management missed the mark that day for sure. And when more than one person at the table orders the same dish, they should come out looking the same. It was unacceptable…..do better.
