I previously left a 5-star review for this clinic, but after a visit two weeks ago, I felt it was important to update my experience. I came in seeking a second opinion to see if I was missing anything in my current treatment plan. Unfortunately, my interaction with the provider was not positive. I left feeling dismissed and not taken seriously. They focused on parts of my medical history where I was no longer experiencing symptoms, instead of the issue I came in for. When I asked whether certain activities I do might be contributing to my symptoms, my concerns were brushed off — only for me to later find out from another PT that those activities do have a profound impact on my symptoms. During my exam, the provider made subtle remarks that made me feel as though my discomfort wasn’t being believed. Because my condition is sensitive in nature, I also found it inappropriate that another staff member interrupted the exam by coming into the private exam room to borrow equipment. When I shared information I received from another physical therapist, the provider implied that the other PT didn’t know what they were talking about, which felt unprofessional. The overall experience left me feeling unheard and confused. I’m disappointed because I had a much more positive impression of this clinic in the past. I’d encourage anyone considering booking here to do their research and make sure it’s the right fit for their needs.
I first came to Peak Endurance with a pinched nerve that was causing pain in my arm and forcing me to significantly restrict my participation at my martial arts gym. I chose Peak Endurance on the recommendation of a friend, and because I could get an appointment within days vs having to wait about 4 months to see someone through my primary healthcare provider. Working with Jennifer was fantastic! She guided me through a series of exercises that addressed my original issue and put me on track to address a rotator cuff issue that emerged during the course of treatment. I am now mostly pain-free and back to engaging in my martial arts training at almost the level I was prior to my original injury.
I have been working with Taylor for most of 2025: first for strength training to address osteoporosis, then for running coaching, and finally to rehab an injury. It has been a year of many positive changes. I have gone from hating any kind of weightlifting to really enjoying the challenge. My attitude toward running has also shifted from one of compulsively piling up days and miles, to being more thoughtful and focusing on quality rather than quantity. I feel stronger and healthier. Taylor has been a great guide throughout. She is unfailingly encouraging, knowledgeable, empathetic, and responsive. She has provided me with the tools and confidence I need to continue to improve on my own. Plus, I know I can always reach out to her if I need a tune-up.
I'm very grateful for the patient and thoughtful care at Peak Endurance! I had stopped doing all forms of weight lifting due to elbow tendonitis. After working with Jennifer, I am now back to lifting weights- heavier than pre-injury! I appreciate the customized approach she took-- even adapting PT exercises so that I could continue them with travel. I chose Peak Endurance because I could start seeing a physical therapist promptly- very glad I didn't wait longer.
I started working with Erienne at Peak Endurance about a year and a half after a surgical achilles tendon repair. After going through a year of PT with the referred UW clinic, they felt they couldn't do more for me and I felt I had more to progress to make. Someone referred me to Peak Endurance about six months after that, and I made more progress in 6 sessions (about 6 weeks) than I did in my last 4 months with my former PT. Erienne is so amazing to work with and actually listened to what I was experiencing instead of following a specific protocol based on my surgery. I like her approach to testing different solutions during the session and being realistic in the number of exercises to assign. She's also a genuinely nice and fun person to talk to, which makes the sessions a win-win! I can't recommend Erienne and Peak Endurance enough.
