Gina was THE best and most important decision we made for planning our wedding. She is the epitome of impeccable organization, efficiency, creativity, and execution while being the absolute most kindest, sweetest, patient, thoughtful and intentional human being. We loved working with Gina and getting to know her so much, that by the end of our wedding planning journey, she had become a good friend to us. I myself have officiated four weddings, been a bridesmaid twice, and attended over 20 weddings of close friends, so I've observed, worked with, and heard a lot of different reviews about a lot of different wedding planners throughout the last decade. I am the only bride in the history of my friends and family with a full wedding planner that experienced pretty much zero stress and barely had to do anything for our wedding (minus ordering some things on Amazon and designing our seating chart). I can confidently say we 1000% had the wedding of our dreams, thanks to Gina executing on our vision and all our wants and needs, not to mention she helped us come in right under our budget! Gina is extremely well connected with all wedding vendors throughout the island, so she helped refer us to all the best vendors. I knew we chose correctly when every single vendor we worked with that knew her was excited to work with her again, and would tell us "Oh, you're working with Gina? You're in the BEST hands!" Gina was extremely honest and communicative with us about the different options we had for everything, from vendors to all the details of the wedding, and she helped us make decisions very quickly and painlessly. Gina was incredible at keeping us ahead of schedule for everything with the wedding planning process. She held regular meetings with clear agendas where we efficiently discussed roadblocks, knocked out any open items, and strategized for upcoming deadlines. She was extremely communicative all throughout the process, so we always knew where we stood. On the day of, Gina and her team took care of EVERYTHING, so that my husband and I were able to focus on enjoying and soaking up every moment of our wedding day without a single worry about any logistics or details. It couldn't have been a more perfect day, as everything went according to plan without a hitch, not to mention we were ahead of schedule the entire time on our wedding day! It was the best day of our lives and the wedding of our dreams, and we are so incredibly grateful to Gina for ALL of it. She is magical, skillful, detail oriented, and insanely good at what she does. If you're planning a wedding, do yourself a huge favor and work with Gina. You'll get to enjoy being engaged while she does all the heavy lifting! Wedding planning is like a second job for most people, but thanks to Gina, we enjoyed all our weekends, and didn't ever have to deal with calling or communicating with vendors on weekdays during the work day. Oftentimes people underestimate the complexities of wedding planning, and think that it's better to do some of the planning themselves to save some money, but what they don't know is that there is A LOT that goes into planning a wedding. There are way more important things people don't even realize or think about that have nothing to do with the little details like name tags or table decor, and we realized this quickly while working with Gina. A lot of couples who realize these things too late typically end up having to "throw money at the problem" during the home stretch leading up to their wedding, causing them to go over budget. Gina was worth every penny we spent and more because she kept us under budget while still achieving our vision! If you're looking for a wedding planner, Gina is the one to rule them all.
Wedding in July of 2022. Review is late, but over 2 years later, 0 regrets on having Gina at the helm on our wedding day. This service was the highest cost for our wedding other than food & beverage. Our wedding was on the smaller side, but since Gina knew the ins and outs of weddings on Oahu, it was well worth it. She allowed us to have a stress-free day and thought of things we definitely would have missed. For example, she printed our vows for us and put it on thick cards so they were easier to handle outside with potential wind. She is familiar with the venues we picked, so she was able to advise us with all aspects of the day. We also picked our venues before we found Gina, and she delightfully said our venue has the best food - and she was right! Hire Gina. She was worth it, and you won't regret it!
My fiance and I interviewed 4 wedding planners before deciding to book with Gina for our destination wedding in Hawaii that was to take place last April. Unfortunately given the onset of COVID-19 and the closure of international borders, we had to cancel our Hawaii wedding, however even without the actual wedding itself, after a year of planning with Gina (and re-planning for two additional postponed dates), I can confidently recommend Gina to ANYONE looking to plan a wedding in Hawaii. Gina is an incredible wedding planner who has the art of planning a wedding nailed down to a T. From our initial conversation I knew Gina was the one as she was so organized, detail oriented and clearly had knowledge of the Hawaii wedding industry that proved to be invaluable throughout the process, especially for an international couple. She has thought of every single component, timeline, contingency, and consideration for planning a wedding so you don't have to. On a personal level Gina is so sweet and does an excellent job of bringing brides extravagant wedding expectations back within their budget, while also advocating for the groom's wishes (a true art!). What was most telling of Gina's character was her navigation of our wedding with the onset of COVID-19. The pandemic hit just 5 weeks out from our wedding day. Gina guided us through our options and the decision to postpone, working with each of our vendors on scheduling a new date (twice!) all while navigating an unprecedented worldwide pandemic. When we made the difficult decision to cancel the wedding all together, Gina showed great compassion and continued in assisting us in receiving vendor refunds where possible. Planning a wedding is stressful in the best of times, but choosing Gina will take the stress out of the process as much as possible. While we didn't get to meet in person, we can't wait to meet one day when we do get to visit Hawaii :)
Gina and the staff at Perfection An International Event Company did an amazing job with our wedding. They were able to answer every question we had, gave awesome recommendations, and were always quick to follow up and make sure everything was alright. We even had our judge quit 2 days before our wedding and within 30 minutes, Gina already found someone else to officiate our wedding who was even better than the judge we had before. We could not have asked for a better coordinator to help plan one of the most important days of our lives. We loved everyone at Perfection and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs help planning their wedding or any other important event. You will always feel at ease with Gina and her staff. Our wedding was seamless because of Gina and her team! I was referred to Gina by a friend who had used her for her wedding.
