I hired Julie for a makeup lesson! I just wanted to improve how I do my own makeup so that going to events, or just day to day, I feel more confident in my own skin! I picked up on so many good tips I never knew! My makeup has been greatly improved the last few days since her lesson. I also decided to book with my daughter and she was able to teach her a few things too about how to wear some sparkle and be age appropriate. I really appreciated that!

I highly highly highly recommend a make-up lesson with Julie. I'm getting married this summer and I really wanted to be able to do my own make-up since I knew I wanted a more natural look. While I have some experience applying make-up there was a lot that I've struggled to pick-up from watching others in tutorial videos. (For example, I never realized my eyes were deep-set and that my cut-crease needed to be higher, or where exactly bronzer should be applied.) Julie was so nice to work with and really wanted to make the experience one that I would be able to learn from (answered a million questions too haha). I brought in my bag of make-up and Julie helped identify what would work well for my completion and wedding look and a few "gaps". Julie uses a lot of products that are very accessible and after the lesson she sent me a list of all the products and some low vs high options. What I've learned from Julie I will be able to apply in my day-to-day make-up looks as well. A great experience and a great investment!

Julie is the sweetest and did an incredible job with our makeup for my wedding this past weekend. My makeup looked exactly how I envisioned it and extremely similar to how it did at my makeup trial. She is very thorough and I love how she makes sure that the right product is used for each individual person. She is very easy to work with and checks in with you while doing your makeup to see how you feel. Truly just the best, would absolutely work with her again for any future events!

Julie did my wedding makeup on June 26, 2021. A week later I still can't stop thinking about how beautiful she made me feel and how flawless my makeup was. As an 'older' bride, I wanted to look as natural as possible, but still have a little 'pop' for photos. Julie nailed it! I kept looking in the mirror in awe of her talent. And her beautiful personality makes her a joy to work with. Julie also did our 20 something daughters, and they were drop dead gorgeous! Julie took their youth & beauty and merely enhanced their natural features with a healthy glow. We were walking on air all evening feeling so beautiful. Julie is a Master makeup artist and I truly can't wait to work with her again. Update since original review: I loved Julie's work so much that a few weeks after my wedding, I went to see her again for some makeup lessons. It was so nice to sit with her and learn some of her tricks of the trade. She's not only a standout artist in her field, she's the kind of person you just want to continue to hang out with and linger over coffee. She puts you instantly at ease. I can't recommend her enough.

Julie is the absolute best!! She did the makeup for my wedding this past June. Not only does she make everyone look absolutely beautiful, but she is so sweet and such a joy to work with! She starts slow, always checks in to make sure everyone loves their makeup throughout the application process, and all around makes everyone look and feel their best. I received so many compliments on my wedding day and when people look at my wedding photos on how beautiful everyone looked and how stunning the makeup was. She is a must book for any special event or you can even schedule an appointment at her studio for a makeup tutorial. I cannot recommend her enough!
