Could not reccomend Purdon’s enough if you are needing rentals for your event! They were such a joy to work with and made my wedding absolutely stunning!! Even with a tropical storm scare and multiple last minute changes they were always so accommodating and professional. Extremely helpful team that I cannot thank enough!!
Very disappointed. I was told we would have a morning delivery around 9 am, that we were first on the agenda for the day. Delivery did not arrive until 3 pm. We understand things happen but no one updated us. After an email and two phone calls, the manager was quite rude and told me that she has no way of knowing where the installation crews are, she doesn't have GPS on them. We ordered a light package installation and tent pole covers. We were billed for six light strands. The delivery crew installed three strands which didn't even cover half the tent. They were going to leave the other three on the ground! My husband had to tell them to install them and how to do it! Although we were billed for 14 pole covers, only 6 were needed (and that's all they brought). We could not rent covers for the trash cans. I had to rent those from Bryant's. I asked what size the trash cans would be and the manager said she didn't know, just that they took the largest trash bags from Sam's. They delivered two different size trash cans. Our tent had to be set up on Friday for a Sunday event because they are closed on the weekend. Storms were expected on Saturday and asked how to contact them if there was an emergency. I was told that the tents were made to stand up to storms up to 60 miles an hour and there should be no problem. When we woke up on Sunday morning, a quarter of the tent was sagging under rain that had collected. It was so heavy my husband could not push it up to get the water off the top of the tent. We had to use a pump we just happened to have. I'm lucky that my husband is a good problem solver. I emailed the manager a photo and asked if this was normal and she never responded. We rented three different size table cloths which were all bundled together by size. Unfortunately the bundles were not correct. Some of the table cloths were long and puddled and others were too short. None of the three bundles contained the appropriate table cloth sizes. Very unprofessional looking and not what I was going for when I rented table cloths. Again, I emailed the manager and got not response. I did receive a refund for the tent pole covers and another item that I did not order but I had to request them. I know Purdon’s has been in business a long time and I have used them in the past but never on this scale. I would not choose them again.
We had an amazing experience with Purdon's. Kaitlyn was very helpful & gave us great advice, ideas, and kept everything organized so we could have the wedding of our dreams. The men that set up the tent were very helpful, nice, and great to work with. It's was so convenient to get everything we needed from one rental business. I will always recommend Purdon's!
