mixed items anything from mid century furniture to modern pieces. my favorite were home decor, tables, pillows and throws. cool pieces and friendly customer service
Unique goods at a significant markup. The tall brunette girl was very judgmental and gave me an up-down before walking away when I needed assistance. Someone else was able to help me out but then another girl (curly hair) rung me up and didn't give me a receipt or offer a bag (it was clearly an item that could get easily scratched). At that point, I was pretty turned off from the whole experience so I just paid and left. I don't see the appeal to return after this upsetting experience. Judging from other reviews, it's clear that a dramatic improvement in customer service is needed.
Would not recommend visiting this place. The staff are rude, impatient and will pressure you to leave the store or guilt you into purchasing items. They seem to actively dislike having people in their store, creating a toxic, unwelcoming environment.
I brought a stone 2 yrs ago in the store, its been on my desk in California for a long time. I place the stone back to the store today. Very random stuff. If anyone found it, be nice to it, thanks.
Retrofit Home, a unique store located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. Retrofit Home is more than just a furniture store; it’s a mini-department store with a sophisticated, fun, and edgy aesthetic. If you’re in the Capitol Hill area, be sure to check it out! In addition to furniture, you’ll find home goods, kitchen essentials, and unique gift items. The every day books were my favorite collection to browse through. Quirky and funky, Retrofit Home sells lots of items you won’t find anywhere else. While their products aren’t cheap, the quality and uniqueness make up for it. Even their sale items can be fairly expensive, but they’re worth it if you want something special. I told the employee I loved their store and the vibe was so inviting and if I had more time I’d probably buy a lot more! So, if you’re on the hunt for distinctive furniture, home decor, or delightful gifts, consider paying Retrofit Home a visit. It’s a gem in Capitol Hill!
