Would be great if they were open just a little bit longer. Not having access until 4:00 PM is extremely limiting. Every other gym Iʼve ever gone to opens in the mornings. With the hours being so short, the membership cost should be half of what it is relative to other gyms with longer hours. I give this gym 4 stars because it is great for what it is: a climbing gym in rural Alaska. I subtract a star for the limited hours.

I was in Juneau off a cruise, and didn't have $700 to helicopter to a glacier, so I came to climb here instead. This gym is awesome! From the staff at the front desk to the autobelays and the challenging routes, it's clear that a lot of love and care goes into keeping this place awesome. I hope you come climb here!

Great climbing gym! Good variety of challenging and interesting routes, friendly and helpful staff, solid equipment and an overall great community! Would definitely recommend to climbers (and potential climbers) of all skill levels!

Had a nice upstairs area for the birthday party, where you could see the whole climbing area below, for the food and anyone who didn't want to climb. Lots of options for the brave and the timid climbers. They had harnesses and shoes for my 4 year old to my 12 year old, and the staff did a thorough refresher on how to be a belayer so my kids could enjoy climbing higher. Overall great experience, the person who was supposed to open the facility for the birthday party showed up late, but otherwise it was awesome!

Loved it! Didn't climb, but I took my three year old to toddler time. 10am-1pm, Tuesday-Thursday, and it's free! Where else can you let your toddler become a little sweatball and bounce around in a cushioned gym? Super nice staff too.
