They cancel classes whenever they want, they even cancel you while you are there in the place. Or 5 minutes before class, when one is already on the way back from the place Terrible service on your part with that issue. We have been going for about 4 months and I am sure that our classes have been canceled more than 8 times. I expected them to improve that but they keep doing it over and over again

I have taken a couple of grandchildren here over the years they have been in business. Lessons are only as good as instructor. I’ve done group and private lessons. I have had same problems as everyone else. Last minute cancellation of classes is huge. I drive 60 miles to and from and I don’t find out till I’ve arrived since I am driving when I get my text. High turnover of employees. Current front desk staff seem attentive and sympathetic to the problems. It’s really hard to spend $80 for 30 minutes and you don’t see progression because the substitute instructor is new or different and doesn’t know your swimmer. The showers do get hot. You just have to go start them 5 mins before end of class to get the hot coming out. I did complain about dirty changing rooms and have seen improvement there. I want my granddaughter to be a good swimmer and keep hoping that she will get an instructor who will make the difference. Still hoping…

Their floors and benches are wet and their changing rooms don't have door handles nor hooks to hang bags when changing your kids. We've had multiple occasions with last minute cancelations, changing instructors, and changing area's in the pool. It's annoying. No supervisors to talk to, only the front desk who can't really answer questions or handle anything which is understandable because they're young. On 11/7/2025 @ 6:30pm Narely held my 5 year old autistic daughter too close to the water. She got some water in her mouth, started coughing, then threw up. Narely panicked and said she needed to get out 5 minutes into her 30 minute session. We understand she needed to clean it up, but she wasn't very clear the entire session was going to end. There was another instructor with another boy who cleaned it up but Narely made EVERYONE get out. My autistic daughter and most autistic kids don't do well with ending preferred activities suddenly. My daughter started having a meltdown in the pool and started hitting/kicking Narely and Narely couldn't really get my daughter out of the pool to us. This is dangerous not only for my daughter but for Narely as well. Their general manager Mikayla sent condescending emails back and forth about their accommodations. If you're going to take government funding for special needs children, you should use the money to train your management and staff on how to accommodate for them. It's unfortunate because my daughter loved swimming and autistic kids are more drawn to water so they need to learn water safety skills.

If I could give this place a 0 I would! I would not recommend this place for any child who needs consistency. They say they work well with autistic kids, but my child had a different instructor almost every lesson. There's no stability and I didn't find out about a different instructor until just minutes before the lesson. For kids who rely on routine, this can be very upsetting. Idk how they are a Alta Vendor most of their staff don't know how to work with autistic kids.
