I've been taking cello lessons for a few months now, and I'm very grateful to Richard for being my instructor. As someone new to playing the string instrument, Richard has a very practical approach to teaching, and he’s very patient throughout the process. Over time, my confidence and comfort have increased. If you’re new to playing the string instrument and you want to learn the cello, I highly recommend Sage Music and Richard as your instructor.

I'm truly enjoying my music lessons, my instructor Adrian has helped me out a lot in learning to read music notations. Thanks to him & everyone at this place I'm continuing to reach my music goals. Adrian is truly patient & very helpful. I truly recommend this place for your music goals & journey. He has also taught me to be patient with myself through learning music & it has build up my confidence in playing my music through my guitar. Thank you.

Sage Music San Antonio is truly an amazing music school! If you have ever dreamt or thought about learning a new instrument or continuing to grow your knowledge with an instrument, I 100% fully recommend choosing Sage Music! I joined and started Violin lessons September 2025 and have truly loved my experience! Austin was the best and most amazing lessons teacher there is. Danny and the rest of the staff have been so welcoming and nice to me every step of the way! The process of joining and figuring out what works for you is easy and simple and they help you every step of the way. You have nothing to worry about! Let this be your sign to take the step, learn the instrument, and choose Sage Music!

Everyone here is so nice! They really work to know there students and help you learn in the way that works for you. My teacher is Austin and he always meets me where I'm at while still helping me grow. My lessons are my favorite part of the week.
