Okay, I love that they have a size smaller than the Small which they call the Smidge. I don't like sweets very much so it's lovely to get a Smidge or tiny portion when I have ice cream cravings haha. Solid homemade ice cream with lots of fantastic flavors, ask for a sample if you want to try something out! Not sure if the pumpkin spice is seasonal, but it was quite delicious.
Love the slightly icey texture. Still creamy but more refreshing than your average scoop. The fresh mint chip is so good. Get the waffle cone!!! The apple pie flavor is so insane. Sometimes I get wary of flavors that are more than just simple, but this one is done to perfection. Same texture as I was listing above, lightly sweet, my problem with apple pie sometimes it's too overpoweringly sweet, this one is a little more cinnamon forward but again not in an overwhelming way just in a way that brings it down to earth and makes it a grand symphony of flavor especially paired with the waffle cone it's like the best part of apple pie, the crust and the ice cream on top Hehe
Ice cream is for your Healing, if it's clean/pure. And this ice cream place is my regular healing. 4/5 because they are cheap with the hot fudge, it is OK to drown the ice cream in heavenly sauce. So cruel...but that is San Francisco, sweet smiles behind sadistic acts.
06/2024 Visited on a weekday for post dinner dessert. Not busy - but don't let that fool you. I ordered a single scoop of the Horchata flavor on a waffle cone. Costed about ~$7. Hard to believe this creamery has been only open for 10 years now, because the quality of the ice cream would have me believe that they've been established for years - the quality of the ice cream was SUPERB. Not only has this been the first time coming across a Horchata flavored ice cream, but the texture of the ice cream was so. incredibly. silky! The atmosphere was cozy! Small shack with indoor and outdoor seating. I can see this place getting slammed during warmer weather (if that even exists in San Francisco). Would I come again if I was craving Ice Cream? You bet! 5 out of 5 Scoops.
A decent spot for ice cream. It is a bit of the sweet and light side so it depends on your mood if you will like it. Still, it is a high quality ice cream and they have some creative flavors like mango & sticky rice. The dark chocolate flavor though is the real deal. It is deep, rich and satisfying. Sounds a bit contradictory to the light nature but it somehow has both qualities. The shopkeeper is attentive and friendly. Come enjoy it when you crave for ice cream!
