I had the absolute best time finding my wedding dress at Sarah Seven with Hannah. She was so lovely and made the appointment so much fun! She helped me try on a variety of dresses and accessories to help get the full vision. She even made herself available so I could come back a week later and make sure I had “the one”. Hannah made an already special time even more exciting and special. I could not recommend her and Sarah Seven SF enough!
This was by far the best wedding dress shopping experience I’ve had! I ended up getting my dress here after having been to quite a few other shops. Lauren was amazing to work with! She had an amazing eye for what looks good, was able to suggest dresses that were similar to ones I’d liked, and even found certain veils that really complimented the styles of the dresses. She’s also fantastic at clipping you in to the dress! The only issue I had with Sarah Seven was loving too many dresses and wanting to take them all home with me!
My experience at Sarah Seven was really nice and pleasant from the moment I arrived. The salon is in a charming part of SF, and the space felt so private and personal. Both times I visited, it was a calm and intimate shopping experience, and it truly felt like I was the only one there. It was wonderful to be able to focus on the super chic dresses, which were exactly what I had been looking for. And I can't talk about my experience without mentioning my stylist, Lauren. She was a pleasure to work with. During my first visit with my mom and mother-in-law, she was great at understanding the room dynamic. She was patient and kind, helped take pictures and videos and helped keep the focus on my vision. When I came back by myself, it was even more clear how well she understood me. The dress she helped me find was exactly what I wanted and again took so many photos and videos and helped accessorize so I had a complete vision of the different ways I could style the dress. Beyond our appointments, Lauren's help didn't stop there. She was amazing at following up with emails, answering my questions, and talking me through the different elements of the dress. Her advice was invaluable, and it was so reassuring to have her guidance. I am so grateful to both Sarah Seven and Lauren for making my dress-finding journey so personal and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to any future bride.
I had such an amazing experience at Sarah Seven and am so happy to say I found my dress here! I went to 6 total appointments (primarily in the city), and Sarah Seven felt different from the rest from the moment we walked in. The space itself is in a beautiful converted house and feels very welcoming. Hannah was so so great to work with - I felt so relaxed yet energized, and the usual stress level of a bridal appointment was just not there! She made the whole thing feel so natural and smooth, and my entire group agreed! Sarah Seven dresses speak for themselves - I absolutely fell in love with my dress as soon as I put it on! I would 100% recommend making an appointment here!!
I’ve given this a lot of thought and I’m sure there are many brides who are NOT in my situation, but I will say that if you are having initial try on/buying your dress in one showroom and picking up in another, be forewarned that there is a policy that you are required to pay in full ahead of picking up your gown, sight unseen. This was my situation and I hope my sharing it will help others avoid the headache I had: I reached out recently (mid-June) for an update, as I was told my dress should be ready for pick up around May in the NYC showroom after I placed my order with the SF team. I was told that “before you are able to schedule your pickup we’ll have to wrap up your order balance.” I referred to my contract, signed November of last year, that noted that final payments would be made upon pickup of my dress. To me, this new correspondence read that I wouldn’t be able to even be put on the pickup schedule until I paid for the dress, without any indication that it would be completed or available to pickup soon. I live on the east coast and was hoping that being able to pick up in the NYC showroom would alleviate stress; instead, I felt like there were some gaps in transparency and communication that left me worried about my dress. I made the request to SF back in December and only in my correspondence this June was I told that NYC would now be given my contact info, which further added to my anxieties. I removed one star from my initial review because I want so much to still have a great experience with this company, and I’m sure the finished product will be beautiful. I do think there are some areas of communication and clarity in policy that could be improved, and I want future buyers not to have this experience. Had I known that the transfer policy was in play when I made arrangements in December, or received updates on delays and status of my dress from either SF or NYC, I would not have felt the need to write this note. Following my email conversation with the SF team, the NYC team did reach out and set up next steps, which I’m very grateful for. As of today, I have been put on the schedule to pick up my dress next month and I am looking forward to meeting the NYC team. I hope this helps other brides in their dress buying process, as it has been emotional for me. Previous review: Loved visiting the aptly named Love Club in SF - my stylist, Alyssa, was helpful and encouraging, and even made sure my mom got to see me in a veil. I’m so glad I said yes to the dress here and I can’t wait for the dress to come in. Thank you, Sarah Seven crew!
