I wanted to share my experience with Sev Laser here in Dallas. After moving recently, I was on the lookout for a new laser hair removal spot and saw a sponsored ad on Instagram offering a free treatment on a small area for new clients. I booked my appointment for today at 12:05. I arrived just 7 minutes late, and initially the front girl told me to please be seated and that the nurse would call me in. Then she asked my name again and immediately said I was late with no grace period and could only come back at 3:30. Keep in mind, I drove over 30 minutes to get there, and driving back and forth just didn’t make sense. I explained that the parking and the location itself were confusing—I had accidentally entered the west tower before realizing Sev Laser was in the east tower. The front desk staff seriously need better training on how to handle minor issues like being 7 minutes late and how to address customers professionally. This could've been handled way better. The free treatment was only going to take about 10 minutes, so rescheduling me hours later felt ridiculous. I ended up telling the front desk girl to cancel my appointment completely. I was really looking forward to becoming a long-term client, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. Even my friends who are clients at this location have decided to stop going after hearing how I was treated.

I’ve been coming to SEV Laser for a little over six months now, and I absolutely love it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and make you feel completely comfortable. If you’re looking for effective laser hair removal with little to no pain, I highly recommend this location. I’ve been on my hair removal journey for almost a year, and since coming to SEV, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my results. Definitely worth it!

I’ve been a client at this laser hair removal clinic for some time and have always had consistently positive experiences. Unfortunately, my most recent appointment was very disappointing. The technician I was assigned came across as disengaged throughout the entire session. From the start, there was a consistently flat and unwelcoming demeanor, and it felt as though she was bothered to be there. Communication was minimal and lacked warmth or client care. Any questions I asked were met with short, matter-of-fact responses, which made the appointment feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. Client experience is extremely important in a service like this, especially where trust and comfort are involved. Unfortunately, that was not present during this visit. While I understand everyone can have off days, this interaction did not reflect the standard I’ve previously experienced at this location. I do want to emphasize that I’ve had good experiences here in the past, which is why I continue to return. However, based on this experience, I will be requesting a different technician moving forward. I hope management takes consistency in client care seriously.

Update: This place is extremely unprofessional and dismissive of basic client comfort and medical concerns. I called to reschedule a Brazilian appointment because I got my period. A male representative answered and asked me to explain why I needed to reschedule, which forced me to say that out loud just to move my appointment. That’s already uncomfortable enough, but instead of handling it professionally, I was told I still needed to come in or pay a cancellation fee. It got worse from there. I was outside of their 48-hour window by less than a day (I called about 28 hours in advance), and despite explaining the situation, I was told I could still proceed as long as I used a tampon. I have endometriosis, which makes that suggestion not only dismissive but unrealistic and painful. This is not a standard situation, and it was treated like one. The only alternative I was given was to use one of my prepaid credits, meaning I would still lose value despite having a legitimate reason to reschedule. That is not a reasonable solution. Requiring someone to either go through with an intimate service while in pain, lose a prepaid service, or be charged a fee is completely unreasonable. Policies should allow for basic common sense and flexibility, especially for situations like this. Unfortunately, this isn’t my first issue with them. During a prior visit, I was not informed of medication restrictions when booking. I showed up for my appointment and was turned away because of a medication I’m taking—something that should have been communicated before I ever came in. The person I spoke with at the time couldn’t even answer basic questions about the service. At this point, it’s clear there are serious issues with communication and customer care. For a service that is this personal, the lack of professionalism and consideration is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others that policies here are enforced rigidly, even when it doesn’t make sense, and you may end up wasting time or money due to poor communication, poor customer service and rigid anti-customer policies.

The policies are very anti customer friendly and for that reason I recommend that you consider another facility to avoid the headaches. They don't care if you're ill, on your period/have endometriosis scheduled for a brazilian, etc. they require cancellation 2 FULL days in advance or you will be charged a large cancellation fee for your 10 min appointment even if you notify them of you illness/cycle 24 plus hours in advance.

i’ve been going to a sev laser for about a year. Lesly is amazing there. Always does amazing job with amazing results. Such a fun kind girl. Always recommend booking with Lesly. Trans friendly. Love the front desk girls too so sweet.
