My dad and I had an amazing experience at Hollywood Optometrist on Beverly Blvd! Both doctors were extremely professional, patient, and thorough during my eye exam. They explained everything clearly and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. A huge thank you as well to the staff — especially the young woman who fixed my glasses (for the second time!) and didn’t even charge me for it. That level of kindness and customer care is rare and truly appreciated.💙 The entire team here is friendly, efficient, and genuinely cares about their patients. I highly recommend Hollywood Optometrist to anyone looking for excellent eye care!
Great place to waste your time. Had an appointment scheduled for 3, showed up by 2:40, sat in the lobby until 4:10 without seeing the doctor. Unfortunately had other commitments to make, and had to leave.
If you need an eye exam or glasses and have been searching for an Optometrist with competent, caring, and professional people, Hollywood Optometrist is the place to go! I requested an appointment for both my husband and myself through their website. I submitted the request on a Friday and the following Monday I received a call from a warm and friendly front office associate to set up an appointment for both of us. She was able to set us up together for the following week. It has been difficult finding a provider's office that will make you feel welcome. Having Medi-Cal as your insurance, you can get treated like you don't matter. Hollywood Optometrist goes far beyond other offices. Everyone we encountered had a smile and made us feel like we mattered, despite the type of insurance we were using. If anyone has ever used insurance through the federal Medicaid program you understand how badly you can be treated. Hollywood Optometrist made us feel normal, they didn't discriminate or make us feel we were a waste of time. We were taken back less than 10 minutes after arriving and received a comprehensive eye health evaluation along with the exam for eye glasses. My husband had his vocal chords removed due to cancer and is unable to speak but can hear perfectly fine. The doctor adjusted the exam to accommodate his lack of verbal communication, showing sensitivity to his unique situation. After our exam we were taken to the front to choose frames for our new glasses. It will take 3-4 weeks for our prescription lenses to be fitted into our chosen frames and then we will both have the glass we've been needing for over five years. Hollywood Optometrist is truly a priceless gem in the healthcare system that deserves to be recognized and discovered. I can't begin to express how much I recommend their office for anyone's eye care needs.
Dr. Lahijani, Dr. Fan, and their clinical staff are the best! They are always professional, welcoming and attentive to my needs/concerns. They specialize in all ages especially children's opthalmology. Conveniently located off the 101 at Alvarado; minutes from DTLA, Silverlake, Echo Park, East Hollywood, Larchmont, Westlake/Hancock Park. There is plenty of underground parking with an attendant (FYI: there is no validation and attendant only accepts cash upon exit). They have a good selection of name-brand (Armani, M Cors, DKNY, Adidas, Ray Ban, Hello Kitty, etc) and generic frames in their bright and spacious waiting area.
I had been struggling with trying to get an appointment at an eye clinic around the corner from this one. They kept cancelling my appointments and there was so much miscommunication within their own team. I ended up finding this place and called them while walking out of that eye clinic. They quickly answered and made me an appointment with no trouble. I did end up having to reschedule for an hour earlier as they told me one of the doctors wouldn’t be there that day but things happen that’s understandable. Everything went so smooth and the staff was all really nice to me. I’m so glad I came here, I recommended it to my sister who also lives nearby. 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
