Shoryu is amazing! Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the staff! We both had Ramen: Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu (which was recommended and is a good choice for a first Japanese food experience) and Karaka TanTan Tonkotsu (which is absolutely delicious and flavorful!!!). The food was incredibly good but what made this a memorable experience was the staff. Cheers to the chef who served us our ramen himself and BIG thanks to our waitress Amelia who has been the star of the evening - so friendly, funny, kind, and welcoming that we give this restaurant 5 stars

They were able to accommodate us on a Saturday evening an hour before our table. Atmosphere felt traditional and you're able to somewhat see the chefs cooking away. Customer service was unfortunately poor on this occasion. While the waiter remembered the whole order and we were going to be correctly billed for it, we never received it. This included a drink and dessert. The food quality was good. Not best. I disliked the meat and egg were served cold, to warm up in the ramen. You can always taste when it's been sitting a while as its slightly cold and has that taste. Portion size could of been better for the money paid. Service charge was 12.5%

It's a cosy restaurants and the staff were friendly they helped me with options since I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant. We have tried a few of their ramens over time all have tested great. I got the white natural ramen (vegan), we had an early lunch so got the deal they had on 3pm-5pm ramen is £10. My partner got Dracula ton taksu also pork gyoza which looked great.

Great Ramen place. They have a number of other locations in London, but also one in Tokyo. The broth is consistently really good and the wood ear mushrooms such a nice addition. We also had the cucumber side which was simple but oh so yummy! And the kara'age was also good. The service we received was really good from just the point of being served. Our waiter was attentive and happy and kind. In fact all of them seemed so. Unfortunately we cannot give 5* however due to the fact that we heard (loud enough that others could hear too) the front of house(?) tell the kitchen to "prioritise delivery orders"! Our only other comment was it was quite busy and staff constantly rushing around. Overall would definitely return 👍.

Tasty, quality, authentic Japanese cuisine at very reasonable prices. Some of the friendliest and most genuine staff we’ve ever encountered, everyone was so lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our visits, the first was so good that we had to come again before we left Manchester. Couldn’t recommend enough, we’ll definitely be back
