Our heat went out the night before sub-zero temps. I called the following morning and they honored a quote that was given 60 days prior, ordered the unit that day and were there 2 days later working in 1 degree weather to get our unit replaced. Greg and Austin were some of the nicest people to work with and made sure everything was done right and did not cut corners despite the freezing temps. Would highly highly recommend. Not to mention, they were $2500 cheaper than anybody else that quoted for the exact same stuff. Great company, great people!

Austin was our technician and he was fantastic. He addressed the issue and we could definitely tell a difference in air quality. I have chronic illness so this made a big difference for me since my body is sensitive and highly reactive. I was back and forth on the NuShield device because we are moving out of state, ultimately spoke with Jarrod (hope I’m spelling his name right!) and he recommended to find a service provider at our new location since they won’t be able to service it. I appreciate their promptness and attentiveness, clarification when I had questions and concerns, and excellent, thorough, honest service. Shout out to Austin and Jarrod specifically for their patience, kindness, and understanding in working with me to accommodate my (kinda higher maintenance) needs. 10 stars if I could and highly recommend Southern Comfort!

Our heat went completely out of service Saturday evening. The temperature was about 5°F. We called Southern Comfort late Sunday morning and were directed to the technician on call, Henry. He assured us we would have our heat back on that night. This young man delivered! He arrived around 4:00pm with a smile, a great attitude, and his tools in tow. Henry had the problem diagnosed in less than five minutes, and out heat back on in less than 20. We needed a new gas control valve, which was promptly order as soon as we gave the go ahead. When it came in we were immediately notified and Henry called to schedule a time. Upon arrival, again with a great attitude, friendly smile, and appropriate tools, he set to work. Though the parts replacement and subsequent testing were promptly completed, our system test failed. Henry made us aware of the fact that our home was experiencing low natural gas pressure which would not allow the unit to perform as intended. Upon his advice we called the city. In the end the city worked for about 12 hours after diagnosing a low pressure line that had likely failed in some way underground outside of our home. Henry stayed here for several hours after his portion of the job was finished, insuring that we were on track and being taken care of. After which he asked that I call him upon the completion by the city. The city guys finished, and our heat and water heater were turned back on around 3:30am. Henry was back out here later that morning to set the gas pressure of out heating unit, and give it one last test. To no surprise I think it’s working better now than it has for the 4 1/2 years we’ve lived here. Henry easily could have replaced that part, collected payment, and be on his way. Instead this young man showed a professionalism that is harder to come every year. Our family is incredibly thankful for his mindfulness of not only our home, but our personal safety. Thank you, Henry! And thank you Southern Comfort!

Our heater broke during the coldest week of the year, and Southern Comfort went above and beyond to help us. Their customer service is truly outstanding—they were responsive, diligent, and made sure the issue was resolved as quickly as possible. Everyone we interacted with was not only professional but genuinely good people. We’re extremely grateful for their hard work and highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services.

We had an issue with our HVAC and called Southern Comfort to schedule an appointment. They were there the same day to check out the issue. Henry, with Southern Comfort, was courteous, kind, professional along with respectful and had a wealth of knowledge regarding our issue and HVAC replacement. If we ever need anyone for HVAC services again, we will definitely call Southern Comfort. Thank you Henry for your kindness and professionalism to help solve our issue.
