Nothing but disappointment. Customer service at this location is consistently terrible. By the time staff come to assist you, your game is already finished. On our most recent visit, we were only made aware that the arcade system had been switched again when I tried to check how many credits my children had left and the system wasn’t working. I then had to go to the arcade employee, at which point we were told that all of our accumulated points were gone. While speaking calmly and respectfully and simply voicing my concerns, the employee responded by saying, “If you will stop and let me finish and calm down,” which made it appear as though I was being aggressive — I was not. All I said was that it would have been nice to be notified, especially since we had already spent money and accumulated a large number of points. My daughter had been saving those points to redeem one of the larger prizes, only to be told they were no longer valid. Instead, we were offered a replacement card with significantly fewer credits than what we originally had, and zero arcade points. While my husband did accept the card and we understand that the employee personally did not cause the system change, it was still extremely frustrating and poorly handled. Customers should not lose what they paid for simply because the company decides to change systems without notice. The staff overall are unhelpful and disengaged. Most appear very young and more focused on talking, dancing, and socializing together than doing their jobs. We waited 20 minutes for fries, which were overcooked. Fries are pre-frozen — there is no reasonable excuse for that wait time or quality. This is not a one-time issue. Back in August, this same location completely mishandled our birthday party package. There was no confirmation, no follow-up, and no one answered the phone at this location. I had to contact head office, and eventually a manager from another province had to intervene just to get someone here to call me back. Every visit follows the same pattern: no employee comes to our lane to ask if we want to order food or drinks, lanes frequently malfunction and disrupt games, and it takes far too long for someone to come help — even when the venue is not busy. On Sunday, our lane malfunctioned multiple times, and despite there being plenty of staff on the floor, it took an unreasonable amount of time for assistance. I deleted my original review and replaced it with this one because I am genuinely shocked that this location is still operating the way it is. The entire experience feels like it is being run by someone who has never managed a business or employees before. These ongoing issues clearly fall on poor management — staff are not properly trained, supervised, or held accountable. I’ve given this location many chances, but nothing improves. Until management changes and employees are properly trained, I would not recommend this Splitsville location to anyone.
Well we went today, it was fine the place was pretty clean, we ordered a large pizza 4 of us… as we’re eating this girl comes over sprays the table with cleaner and it goes on our food!!!! I was not impressed!!! I told the server she did NOTHING!!! I go to pay for 3 fountain pops and one large pizza my bill 78$$$ are u kidding me? No free refills on the pop are u kidding me? So im looking at the bill as im leaving and i got charged for a pitcher of beer that we did not have! So again had to go back to find a manager to talk about this….. still did nothing about the cleaner that was sprayed on the pizza, I asked again the about the refills of fountain pop he tells me when you first order you have to pay for free refills!!! What company does this really? First time I’ve seen this!!! Wow after paying $120 fo 2 games for the 4 of us 2 adults 2 kids thought that was crazy and it doesn’t include shoe rental but we could wear shoes from home now and that was ok, the pizza was alright too
The family loves it here. Loads of bowling lanes and an arcade area to play at after you're done bowling. They also have lane service for food and drinks. Fun for families as well as friends hanging out.
A good place for kids birthday party with fun & sports activities. Lots of arcade games options, bowling, and other fun activities. Lounge and VIP spots are there for comforts. Recommend for children with their friends and families
Highly recommended this place for bowlers of all types! The party seating was great; nice comfortable benches with ample shoe storage. Wait services such as drinks and food are a nice touch for hosts that can't exactly leave to place food orders. The building is clean and well maintained. Washrooms are kid friendly. The food is good. I recommend the fries and tenders. The pizza however was not the best. Cheese wasn't melted and the dough was bland and thick. I was expecting a greasier, cheesier pizza from a bowling alley. I loved the bar; pool table and shuffleboard with darts too. Arcade was great, and they have low level ticket prizes for kids who may only want to play a few games.
