Racism is a real issue here. The person running the establishment looks at you like a peasant if you aren’t of Caucasian descent. I won the draw for their strike pot, which gave me a chance at the jackpot. When I walked up with my ticket, I was immediately accused of taking someone else’s! To make matters worse, they have a rule stating that if it’s your first time playing, you’re only entitled to half of the grand prize ($7,305). The kicker? I actually won the most recent tournament they held in December! The person who confirmed my win back in December was standing right next to the man treating us poorly; he looked me square in the face and said absolutely nothing. You could tell by the manager's expression that he was unhappy to see a person of color holding a winning ticket. When I walked to the lane to see which pins I needed to hit (a difficult shot), I was yelled at to "PICK UP YOUR BALL" in a loud, aggressive manner for no apparent reason. I was so rattled that I missed the shot. As the "no tap" tournament continued, this same man (a manager or possibly the owner) walked around to every other lane to chat with bowlers, asking how their day was going. He walked right past our lane without saying a word. There were three of us on that lane of non-Caucasian descent. Coincidence? I don’t think so. If you plan on going here and you aren’t white, good luck. Other local bowlers eventually started looking over and whispering under their breath. This place is terrible and clearly only welcomes "regulars" who fit a certain profile. Since we don't live in the immediate area, we were treated like outsiders. Avoid this place.
I visited Skyway Bowl after not going bowling for several years and was looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the customer service completely overshadowed everything else. From the moment we walked in, the front desk attendant was noticeably rude and unwelcoming. Her tone was dismissive, and it was clear she had little interest in helping. Several members of my group were spoken to rudely, including when a friend asked for a shoe size scale and was met with an unnecessary and condescending remark instead of assistance. The situation escalated when she noticed I had a water bottle with a closed lid and only water inside. While I understand and respect venue policies, the way this was handled was inappropriate. I was abruptly told to either put it back in my car or have it dumped out. There was no attempt to explain the policy politely or offer a reasonable alternative, such as holding it at the front desk. After I left the bottle at our table, she returned and said she would be taking it, then questioned “don’t you have a car to put it in???”. Expecting a customer to interrupt their activity, remove bowling shoes, and go outside in –20°C weather over a sealed water bottle is unreasonable and stupid, particularly when the situation could have been handled professionally and kindly. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. The attitude and lack of professionalism significantly impacted my visit and completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable outing. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location to others.
that middle aged blonde lady was sooo rude. first off our bowling lane literally broke and she didn’t add the time back again. also she had such an attitude problem the second we walked in treating us like we’re delinquents, consistently giving us dirty looks. we asked for different shoe sizes and she made it seem like an inconvenience. my friend asked for a scale for the shoes and she said “U don’t know ur own shoe size?” when other bowling places offer sizers.

Best bowling alley ever. Good deals. Great lanes. Awesome owner drilled my first ball and I got a high score that same day. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
