My wife and I consider Sundara OUR spa! It's our special place to unwind and connect. Everything is beautiful and amazing. The bath ritual is central to the experience. Don't pass on the cold plunge! We also love the wildlife viewing room. Our Sundara experience is always the best. Can't recommend it enough.

Highly recommend! We opted in for several spa services and a day pass to the bath and pool amenities. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I’m not sure what the negative comments are referring to. The facilities were well kept and very clean. We enjoyed the spa services and overall experience. Extremely tranquil and can spend the whole day bouncing between amenities. The spa services included the day pass to the other amenities (ritual bath, pool, gym, quiet rooms). The restaurant onsite was perfect for a quick lunch. Don’t forget to reserve the free classes (meditation, yoga, art, cooking, mixology).

I'm not sure what's up with the negative reviews! This place is absolutely incredible!! My husband and I came for my bday weekend and it's exactly what we needed...a break from kids! The room was perfect. They supply you with a little goody bag, robes and sandals. There is an endless supply of coffee and tea and fruit throughout the resort. We had breakfast as room service and ate at their restaurant for an early dinner and the food was great! I can't understand why so many complain about the food. We loved being able to stay on site at the resort while it was snowing all day. Hot tubbing outside while it was snowing was magical!! It wasn't that busy either. I was expecting the pools to be swamped with people, but it wasn't really, maybe 2-3 couples at a time. Make sure you read the instructions for the bath ritual. The room could use more hooks to hang clothes, towels, robes, etc. I would totally come back here again!!! The whole place smells like essential oils which I love!

This place deserves more than 5 stars. Lauren and Bianca at reception were very kind and friendly; they helped us with check-in very quickly. Our room was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed within easy reach. We really enjoyed the pool and sauna. It exceeded my expectations and went beyond incredible. You absolutely have to experience this atmosphere where you disconnect and deeply relax. All the facilities and services were impeccable, tidy, and very clean. We are sure we will return on our next vacation!

We visited Sundara a couple months ago with a couple of my friends, and we all have been there before (last summer). Sadly, the place has gotten worse - not sure what it is, either they are under staffed or overcrowded? Or both? But it does not look like a premium resort, even though the prices are quite high - plastic cups by the pools, towel bins overflowing, no water in the tanks. it just doesn’t do the magic anymore… No one is genuinely relaxing, it feels like it’s too small of a place to handle high people count… The area around is gorgeous, though, and with all the fall colors it’s just magnificent! They now have specialty drinks for breakfast - AKA coffee! Delicious, and the patio of their restaurant is really one of a kind. But tbh, you don’t have to spend over $800 a night at Sundara and still can have similar experience (there are some smaller cozy hotels around like Caribbean club! We stopped by to check it out as well. And you can always go to Bella Goose to get awesome coffee too, a little modern coffee shop on downtown) we will probably wait a couple years and try out other places till we decide to come back to Sundara, just because overall its not as magical as we hoped (and quite frankly, feels like a capitalistic scam for the amount of money we spent)
