The food was okay has decent selection and overall fine for the price but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Jack, our server, was absolutely amazing. Even though the place was jam-packed and he seemed to be the only one serving the whole place, he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to anything we needed. His professionalism and positive attitude really made our dining experience much better. Because of Jack’s outstanding service, our visit was still very enjoyable. Thank you, Jack, you truly went above and beyond!

Visited on Monday evening, December 29. The restaurant was mostly empty, with only three tables occupied, yet weekend pricing was applied due to the holiday season. The sushi quality was poor. There was far too much rice, and the rice itself was bland and poorly seasoned. The salmon cone maki had very little salmon and only cucumber, with an excessive amount of rice. Most meat dishes were overly greasy. Fried items lacked flavor, even with soy sauce. We ordered two ramen but received overcooked udon noodles instead. For the price, the dessert selection was minimal, with only ice cream. Wasabi and pickled ginger were not provided by default. Wasabi was given upon request; pickled ginger was unavailable. Overall, the quality did not match the price. I would not return.

We were visiting from Ottawa and stopped at Sushi Samurai in Old Québec for lunch and we’re so glad we did! The sushi was fresh, tasty, and there was a really good variety to choose from. The restaurant felt clean and welcoming, which made it a relaxing place to enjoy our meal. Our server was fantastic really friendly, kind, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a great time here and would happily come back the next time we’re in Québec City! 🍣✨

Amazing experience, the food was definitely a 10/10. The server was very kind, fast, and helpful. He even showed us what was good and gave us great recommendations. Highly recommend this place.
