It doesn’t take 5 min for an oil change. Take much more per car because they work on one bay at a time. ONE HOUR wait & no oil change. Miserable. During the wait 2 cars left because it takes too long. They finished in 2 cars and 2 more cars pending on the bay. The staff is polite and offer water. But waiting that long isn’t what’s advertised. This is not the only take 5 location with this type of wait and service.
I wasn’t planning to review my experience at Take 5, but they sent me a text message asking, so here goes. As my three-star rating indicates, I wasn’t entirely satisfied with my experience. First, I’ll say that everyone was cordial and professional throughout. That’s much appreciated. Still, I’m confused about the pricing. If I can buy a 5-quart jug of Mobil 1 in any Walmart for about $30, why does getting my oil changed with that same oil at Take 5 cost more than $120, not counting the disposal fee or the other fees they add on? Similarly, the store offers two other synthetic options at slightly lower prices, without any explanation of what brands they are or why one costs more than the other. Without any clarity as to those differences, I opted for the last expensive synthetic oil, which was still $83. With tax, oil disposal fee, and whatever else they included, my drive out price was $111.83(!!!). Those kind of shenanigans go on throughout the experience. Sure, every oil change place will try to sell every customer an air filter, but at some point the ritual gets kind of tiresome, you know? So too, the sticker set to a completely absurd 3,000 miles as a “reminder” to come in for an unnecessary top off of fluids. At least the technician agreed to reprint it at a slightly more reasonable 5,000 miles. Finally, I like that the employees seem to enjoy working with each other, but that only goes so far. From my perspective, they seemed to spend a lot of time joking around with each other instead of getting my oil changed as quickly and safely as possible. My time is valuable, gentlemen, and I don’t like feeling as thought you wasted it.
I had an excellent experience with Zach and his team at Take 5 Oil Change. From the moment I pulled in, they were professional, friendly, and efficient. Zach made sure I understood each step of the process, and the team worked quickly without cutting corners. What stood out most was their great customer service — they treated me with respect, answered all my questions, and made the whole visit smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find a shop that combines speed, quality, and genuine care for their customers, but Zach and his crew deliver on all three. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to anyone needing an oil change.
I went just now. I spend 120 +53 for air filter plus. I had to ask for the to pump air in my tires and to change the filter. They' didn't want to do it and now I know why. They lost the screws I saw when he got all the screws out. They lost them only put 2 screws back in the air filter in the front. I told him to put air. And he barely pressed twice really quick and didn't do it. They didn't give me a receipt for the oil change. Bad service even though I paid the most expensive oil. Don't come here..
I have been going to take 5 oil change for plenty of years, but this is the first time I have gone to this location. Let's just say the experience could not be any worse. They broke my housing unit, they let me leave without telling me. Went back 2 days later and they replenished my oil with 3 quarts. Yes, that is how much oil I dropped in 2 days on driveways while being parked. When I went back to the store the store manager was there and he told me they shouldn't have let me leave the store that day without telling me. They never cared to degrease my vehicle for me. The store manager told me to make a claim and they will take care of everything. I go through the process and they tell me that it is my problem... a car defect, when the store employees admitted that they broke something on my car. Told me to get the part and they will fix it for me (so I did that and incurred the cost for that as well). The district manager keeps ignoring me and will not return a phone call. This place is a joke. At the least, they should have refunded the original oil change and the vehicle part. I will tie in some pictures. I would love to tie in the video of the store manager admitting they messed up and that they should take care of the expenses, but they closed the claim and denied it all. District manager has gone incognito and will not return any phone calls. Unfortunately, it won’t let me upload the video, but YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING ELSEWHERE AS THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
