I understand restaurants get busy, but waiting over two hours for food with little explanation or apology is not okay. Poor service and lack of communication made this experience frustrating from start to finish. Very disappointing

For about the past four years, I have always ordered the favorito roll without sesame seeds on top because I am allergic to them. It has never been a problem until they accidentally made a mistake recently. The manager replaced my roll, but was very rude about the situation. Well, this Monday I tried ordering my roll like always and the manager told me that I couldn’t make changes to rolls that were on special. I told her that they have always done it for me, and she told that it changed. She told me that if I wanted it without sesame seeds, I had to pay full price. I couldn’t believe it. She was extremely rude! I can’t believe they have someone with no people skills in charge. They just lost a loyal customer.

Purchased an order through doordash and ordered Teppanyaki Chicken (Description: Tender chicken strips stir-fried with noodles, shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onions, garnished with fresh cilantro). When it got here it was Chicken with vegetables and rice and when I called to complain and ask why I got something completely different, their manager just said sorry you got the right order and what you ordered. Won't be going here or recommending it anymore.

This was my first time visiting Tensai. First of all, I really enjoyed the whole ambience of the place, the lights, the fixtures, the decorations. Everything was really nice, I would consider a nice spot for a romantic sushi date for dinner time. The food it self was also super good. The service was okay, but to be fair it seems like they were short-staffed at the moment. The rolls tasted super fresh, and the presentation was practically perfect. I got the mango roll and it was delicious. Their white rice with chicken was also very good. Would definitely come again. $$
