I needed fence gate repair. Quick service next day with great quality. The gate is once again sturdy. Kendall even trimmed the bottom of the gate to provide better clearance from the landscaping rocks. Overall very satisfied and impressed with the work done.
The manager kept going away for long period of times and there was a hiccup on replacing the fence. The person who. I had highly recommended to the neighbor. The gates were awful and again the manager seemed like he didn’t care & kept disappearing for long periods of time . The neighbor had issues either his gates. The workers were great. But I’m not sure I will use the save service again . I was upset that I had recommended Kendall to the neighbor & he had so many issues with his gates & one whole night was scary. Everyone passing thru the back could see everything I. Both yards I had used Kendall previously & had no issues. But this manager if his. Has issues
Texas Fence Pro’s did a fantastic job replacing our fence. Their price is fair and communication was great, most of all our fence looks amazing. They spoke to our neighbors on our behalf to discuss fence direction, which was extremely helpful! They did an amazing job and pay attention to detail. Our yard is uneven and to prevent our dogs for getting out the added and addition board to the bottom, which we are grateful for. They worked around our shed and rose bushes without complaint. I would highly recommend Texas Fence Pro’s they do great work!
Update on workmanship and guarantee: Texted video of swinging gate board (see video) asking if it was covered by "warranty" and could it be repaired. Return text was simply “yes” It’s been over a week so I fixed myself. I also fixed boards (5-6) as they weren’t nailed at bottom and curled after first rain. (see photos) Sprinkler break absolutely caused by Texas Fence Pros and NOT repaired by contractor. The wire for valve to controller was cut through when digging hole for post. Similarly, on the other side of the yard, a pipe was crushed when digging hole for post. The contractor couldn’t find the wire, so jerry rigged 2 stations together resulting in low pressure to newly reconfigured. I fixed both myself and returned to original condition. Bottom line, his response that “all I needed was patience” and there’s “no pleasing me” added to the disappointment of the overall job. They came highly recommended which is why I paid a higher price than other bids. The attached photos show the quality issues I experienced. (I cleaned up the broken concrete and cigarette butts left along the perimeter so they aren't pictured) and my efforts to communicate. Original post: Overall, finished product looks okay. What was lacking is service, dependability and follow through. The crew no-showed on day 2 when rain was forecast, but never arrived. Kendall advised he had let the crew off because of weather although there was not even a drizzle after 7 am. My old fence was already removed, leaving my pool (and yard) exposed to street with only flimsy orange safety fencing for two days. Common sense mistakes were made (gate only one-sided on a double sided fence), "good side" of fence faced an enclosure while "back side" of fence faced yard. Gate latches installed so that they could only be locked from outside. These issues were resolved after being brought to attention. Sprinkler system was broken in two area. The contractor sent out, DJM Ground Service, jerry-rigged one repair by combining the cut station into another (couldn't find valve) and failed to fix a broken pipe in another (slipped his mind). After numerous calls, and despite assurances that "someone would be out", I fixed myself. I also found at least 5 boards that were only nailed to center stringer and not at top or bottom. I released the final payment to Texas Fence Pros because of assurances that issues would be fixed. Hard lesson learned for future. Would not recommend.
Amazing job!!!!! Where to start Texas Fence Pros are definitely the fencing company that you want to do your fence job. Got three quotes for the same length of fence and Fence Pros came in 800 less then other fence companies in the area. The reason I'm adding the difference in cost is that they worked with me to offer stump grinding and fence line clearing when all the other quotes were 400 more and required me to find my own person to clear the fence line which was a solid 400 additional on top of that. As you can see from the photos the fence is absolutely beautiful and was completed when and how i needed it to be. The crew was fantastic and worked with me the day of when I needed things tweeked and changed with no questions asked. So if your looking to get a fence completed give these guys a call.
