The Artist's Retreat is Collinsville's greatest hidden treasure! They offer all sorts of art, crafting, and genuinely unique classes. Classes like painting with actual coffee and hand crocheting a blanket! As someone who has very little talent, I have created a couple of pieces that I am proud of thanks to The Artist's Retreat. Keep an eye out on their Facebook page & website for their schedule! You never know what your next handmade creation might be! Note: They do offer classes at various hours through the week. I just happen to work during the day, so fun evening events have been the best way for me to tap into my artsy side!

We love the artist retreat. My daughter has been going for years and has grown so much in her art. I love how Miss Valerie offers all levels of art from beginner and up and can help each child, or adult at the pace they feel comfortable with. It truly is an amazing place with a relaxing environment. 🎨

Our family has such a longstanding relationship with the owner and staff of The Artist’s Retreat. For over 3 years my youngest has taken regular weekly lessons and to this day says it is her favorite activity of the week! The amount of love, support, passion, and creativity exhibited by this staff is unmatched! If you haven’t given one of their classes or events a try yet, it is certainly a must!

My daughter takes classes at The Artist’s Retreat. The owner, Valerie, was eager to work with us as a vendor for waiver services. My daughter really seems to enjoy classes and comes home happy. She likes that she gets to paint things that interest her.
