Do not come here, if you want to get messed up by all means come to this place. Plenty of barbers in san jose that cut a lot better. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME because you will regret it.
I came only to get a trim but left with my hair butchered. If you come here, which you probably shouldn't even in the first place, spell it out for your barber. All I asked for was a fade on the sides and maybe a line up. My barber started to trim the back of my head after asking if I wanted a fade on the back of my head and me saying no, and when I said something he brushed me off and tried to gaslight me into thinking this is what I asked for. By the time I got to look in the mirror it was to late. Its not that I wasn't clear, it's not that I didn't say anything, it's the fact that he kept cutting after hearing a no. I would highly recommend trying another barber shop, unless you want to wear a hat for a couple months. I left with neither a fade on the sides or the back of my afro untouched.
I ce in to get a trim, I had come one time before and had an amazing experience, however this time I left severely disappointed. After siting down and telling my barber I wanted a fade on the sides and to specifically to mot fade the back, he immediately started to fade the back. When I asked him what he was doing he told me he was just doing what I asked and to trust him. I think he was not paying enough attention to the haircut and rather to the other barber across the room because by the the time I got to chance to check what he was actually doing to my hair, he had faded the back of my head and left the sides untouched. I could understand a misunderstanding, but this was far from a misunderstanding, if my barber could listen to simple instructions maybe I wouldn’t feel the need to leave a poor review. DO MOT COME HERE, at least if there’s a football game on or another barber in the store, or you will leave disappointed.
I showed up for my appointment on time… my barber did not. He rolled in a solid 30 minutes late, which gave me enough time in the waiting chair to rethink my life choices and decide on a new haircut twice. Once we actually got started, the cut itself was pretty good—solid enough that I wasn’t embarrassed in public, but not quite solid enough to avoid me doing two little DIY touch-ups at home. (Nothing says “bonding experience” like finishing your own haircut in your bathroom mirror.) The real plot twist came during the lineup. My guy dug in with the trimmers like he was drilling for core samples. I left the shop with a red mark big enough to have its own ZIP code, and it stuck around for days as a souvenir. Overall: friendly dude, decent cut, but if you book an appointment, plan for extra time—and maybe bring some Neosporin just in case.
Do not go to this place unless you want to cry for another 4 weeks hoping your hair to regrow faster made an appointment with mikey but he couldn't see me as it was his birthday and referred me to isaac I said yes, and showed him the picture how I wanted and the length I wanted. This dude just picked up his razor and did something and completely changed the shape of my hair and made it completely uneven. I am sure he is new and has never went to barber school in his life and I highly recommend anyone to not waste their money here for the price they charge, I had to go to kings barber and get if fixed right away which was hard for them considering how bad it was and now I just need to wait for a month for my hair to regrow so they can even out my hair. I was too embarrassed to take any other pictures as it was really bad. I will never go to this salon even if they offer me free services
