Leon and the other guys have been on my street (Valley Oak) for a few weeks, clearing trees away from power lines. These guys were nice, respectful and made sure I understood what they were going to have to do to our trees. Now we're going to get a few cool new replacement trees so we are very happy!

Will and the crew were extremely professional and polite. They performed timely and excellent work. The crew was friendly and explained things if we had any questions. And they did an impeccable job of cleaning up. I highly recommend Davey Tree!

Worked with Francisco. Very knowledgeable, professional, and provided an excellent price. The crew that came out was also awesome. They had to climb the trees and take them apart piece by piece. They got them down without breaking the fence they were growing next to or anything else in the yard. I watched from inside the house most of the day. I was fascinated, surprised, and impressed. And they somehow left the backyard cleaner than it was before they cut down 3 trees. 10/10 would recommend these guys.

Daveys tree service contracts with Austin energy to trim branches near the power lines. When they came out for a consult I was assured that they would be able to trim the limbs on the back of the tree only. Instead they destroyed the top of a very healthy tree, including most of the branches that were no where near the power line, including the central branch that grew straight up. Also explain why they had 7 men come out to trim one tree? When they were told to stop they laughed and kept going. My tree is mutilated. If this is what our tax dollars or energy bills pay for we’re all owed an apology.

Update 7/10 - I worked with Will who kindly came out to assess what was wrong with the tree and very much took accountability for the lack of communication and responsiveness of the front office. Will worked at length to help me identify what could be causing the issue and if it was something to do with the tree treatment or there was another cause. They even did a soil test to try and see what results we may find. It unfortunatly came back that it was herbacide damade and did not look like it was improperly fertilized. So with that the plan is to deep water and stop all other tree treatment as that can easterbate the issue. Because Will stepped it and went above and beyond I am changing my original post and experience from two stars to three. I would still encourage the company to exlore better communication and make sure that all technicians are monitoring the trees for any damage if you are on the subscription service. I will keep the short and sweet I do not recommend this company. I originally signed up because there was a wonderful person who helped me with a tree on my property. Unfortunately, since that person has left, it seems that I now have tree damage that has gone unaddressed for weeks I can’t get anyone on the phone nor can I get them to show up for an appointment. It seems that this company is most concerned with making money through recurring services and not actually taking care of my tree. I am pretty certain that what damaged my tree is too harsh of chemical treatments as this tree has been alive for eight years and I’ve never seen anything like the leaf burn I have until these treatments started. Update: someone finally called me back after a person showed up at my other house to treat trees there (which would result in more money owed to them) but not at the house with the damage. He was able to get the DM to call me. The DM said he would look at it 5 business days from now and he never had an appointment on his schedule for yesterday. Why wait 5 more days to help? Why wouldn’t he come today or at least tomorrow? I am assuming it’s because it isn’t in his route until Monday and it would take away from paid services. I stand behind my original post, this company does not have customer service that you can trust unfortunately. I would look elsewhere and pay attention to the good and less favorable reviews when selecting. I didn’t originally because I met and loved the person that has since left the company. Learn from my misfortune 🌳.
