David Sanders has been an incredible dog trainer for both our terrier rescue, Ollie, and our Aussiedoodle, Roo. Ollie has always been especially challenging, but David transformed him into a calm, well-behaved dog we never thought was possible. We can finally eat in peace with no more whining, barking, or fighting between them. David consistently made himself available whenever we needed extra hands-on guidance, and his support never felt rushed or limited. We’re truly blown away by the results and look forward to continuing to work with him to maintain this amazing progress.

Sending our puppy to the Dog Wizard was the best decision we could have made. C.J. was amazing with our Goldendoodle and continues to be incredibly helpful whenever we reach out. The training taught our dog so much—I honestly don’t know what we would have done without it. We chose the two-week board and train option, and it was wonderful. I especially love that they offer lifetime follow-ups and ongoing support. Highly recommend to everyone!

What a perfect pairing for us David is! Our sweet little rescue, Frankie was terrified of his surrounding and the people in it. We knew it would take more time, as we had to work on fear and anxiety before we could even focus on the training… Davis was patient and kind, even taking Frankie home with him to build trust. Introduced him to other dog friends, new places, and helping him understand that there are many happy times ahead. Frankie has come leaps and bounds from day one. We continue to have check up visits with David and we’re all growing together, and much appreciate the time he’s taken. We’re planning a trip over the new year and plan to use them for boarding! We did the board and train for our 3 dogs. It’s the best decision we could have made for the steps of blending our family together. The dogs also needed to learn how to become a pack and good siblings. During the process it was so much fun receiving videos and pictures of their progress. The continued help after the boarding is great too. They are always available for questions and to help with anything that comes up. David has been the best! Our dogs missed him so much when their stay was done but love seeing him when he comes out to the house for helpful tips on any issues we are having. Looking forward to seeing David on drop in sessions Saturdays to keep up the training! This process exceeded our expectations overall. We are so impressed with the continued support and communication. If you are thinking about having your dog trained you should really consider becoming part of the dog wizard family. I am not even sure where to begin. We could not be any happier with our experience with The Dog Wizard! We got a puppy midsummer with hopes of having a companion dog to help keep us company as empty-nesters. What we got was 9 lbs of feral and fury!! He is the sweetest puppy we ever met, but he wouldn’t listen to a word we said, and he lived up to every preconceived expectation of a stubborn male Shih Tzu. Things weren’t going well and we didn’t know what to do🙁 He would not come when called, wouldn’t sit or hold place, walking was a train wreck, puppy-biting, peeing on the floor, and most of all, not wanting to be crate trained and wouldn’t sleep at night. He would bark for hours!!. He was like an infant, toddler and teenager all wrapped up into one!! After working with his trainer, Pam, Jack has become a brand, new man! At only seven months he now sits, lays down, housebroken, holds place, walks like a champ, recalls from wherever he is, avoids and does not acknowledge distractions. Most impressively though, he is sleeping 10 hours in his crate through the night without making a sound. Pam truly is a dog wizard and she found a way to communicate with our little man! Most importantly, she has educated us on how to be better dog parents and how to advocate and communicate with Jack. I thought I knew enough about puppy training that I could handle him. I had no idea there was so much to learn and the trainers at The Dog Wizard have opened up a whole New World for us and our time with our dog. The group support sessions on the weekends as well as in-home follow up training has been unbelievable! He continues to learn every day and we are able to enjoy his company and welcome him into our family with open arms. The day after he came home from training, we went on a weekend trip hiking and stayed in a pet friendly hotel. We ate at restaurants, traveled through stores, and navigated trails and caves with hundreds of people, and he was the most well-behaved dog there! Dozens of people complemented him on his obedience, training and overall cuteness, and we owe it all to The Dog Wizard! Thank thank you, Pam, for taking such good care of Jack and for caring for him as if he was your own! We are forever grateful!!
