The British worker with the accent had a horrible attitude over th phone and he blamed it on the Christmas season. That's no excuse. The item we purchased from Amazon.ca was incorrectly described as it had water damage to half the books pages, it was a second issue not a first issue and there was tiny holed that appeared to be caused by something sharp in the last ten pages. He blames the description on amazon.ca. If he knew it was wrong, why did they not correct it or make us aware before we went through with the purchase? We sent it back paying for shipping back to them. So we will expect a full refund from the original amount with shipping and GST plus the shipping it cost to send it back to them. Now my mom does not have a birthday present for the 24th of Dec. What a horrible experience.

Ordered a rare set of 4 books. Quality and speed of shipping was perfect, and the books were in great condition, as described. Will be ordering again!

Lovely bookstore that goes back and back (and down!). Friendly staff and primarily non-fiction and classics.

I'm in Calgary, but I bought a book I needed off of their Amazon page. It shipped so fast and was in great condition! I'm so pleased that the Edmonton Book Store had the book I needed and I got a hold of this book in decent time! Thanks a bunch! Next time I'm in Edmonton I will be in to look around and buy more!

This store is one of the, if not the, best used bookstore in the city of Edmonton and surrounding areas. The store itself is a maze of amazing books around every twist and turn, there are two floors (the basement being much smaller but just as packed full with books. You can find all sorts of rare, interesting, and unique books in this store. I went in for a quick browse and I ended up spending over an hour just browsing before I even began thinking about narrowing down my choices to buy something! I ended up walking out with a book, and as I was checking out I got to chatting with the store worker. According to him, within the store there are over 90,000 books! I believe it but my gosh you could be in this store all day and never read the same title twice. Definitely a great place to check out if you are looking for your next "new to you" book! This store is an amazing addition to the city of Edmonton, and I hope it remains one for years to come.
