I had my wedding here and it was the best experience imaginable! I am so glad that the staff and everyone involved made my special day so extraordinary! They are excellent communicators and very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them to those who are looking for something that provides for everything except photographer, flowers and DJ. It's not cheap, but its worth it! Thanks Entourage!
We’d rate our experience 4.25 stars, but rounding up to a 5 because overall, we had a very positive experience and would get married here again!! We had a lot of guests from out of town so the location is awesome for that! We loved the historic charm of the building and the exposed beams with lighting included. We loved the courtyard where we got married. We loved the getting ready rooms for the girls and the guys. Sienna was our Day of Coordinator and was super helpful and set up everything that we needed! They added fresh flowers to the pots the day of the wedding in the outdoor ceremony space, which was beautiful! All of the day of staff were great and super helpful! No major complaints for the day of! The food was truly incredible—we’re still hearing compliments from guests about how much they loved every dish! Drinks were great too. Highly recommend adding the indoor sparklers—they were such a fun surprise for guests and totally worth it. The day-of service was a 10/10, and that’s what matters most! The team here runs weddings like a well-oiled machine, and it shows in how smoothly everything flows. Cons - One of the vendors we booked from their preferred list was later removed due to venue insurance/vendor requirements. It caused some awkwardness and stress, but we pivoted and had our florist create a floral arch instead, which worked out beautifully. - The venue is very strict on outside food and drinks, which we understand. However, since no food service is available before 11 am, it would be great if they offered a light morning option (like pastries, fruit, or bagels) for couples and wedding parties who access the suites early. - Planning meetings were a bit inconsistent since we worked with different staff members. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but we did receive conflicting information at times (like deadlines for place cards, seating charts, and what the DOC would or wouldn't set up). It all got clarified closer to the wedding, but it caused some unnecessary stress.
I photographed a wedding here in May 2025 and it was a great experience. The staff, venue, and ceiling colors were all great to work with as a photographer. Some constructive criticism feedback I have is that I provided valid insurance multiple times, and I kept getting bugged that it was incorrect. And it was disappointing that they had flower planters.... but no flowers or plants planted in them (see photo). One of their light caps were crooked too, and I just notice it in all of the photos I took. Getting ready rooms were great and nearby photo opportunities - in short walking distance - were so great. Overall, would photograph here again!
Last Fall I photographed a wedding at The Grand 1858 and wanted to share my experience as a photographer. I photograph as Jeff Dose photography and am grateful to have shot at the Grand 1858 several times. What I love most is how easy they make the day for the entire wedding party... Getting ready rooms on site, beautiful ceremony and reception spaces, and a huge patio that is perfect for photographing. The location along the river provides TONS of photographic opportunities. I love photographing here!
Such a stunning wedding venue, we had the honor of photographing the first wedding here when they just opened in 2023 it was so fun to be a part of! The couple got ready and married off site and hosted their reception here - the vault was a fun add! Loved how they preserved the history here!
