First time at this downtown Phoenix shop and Scotty took care of my son’s cut. He really listened, didn’t rush, and made sure everything was exactly right. If you want someone who takes pride in their work, ask for Scotty!

I just wanted a trim on my bangs, i requested the length to be at the first half of my eyebrows. Not only did he cut past my eyebrows but he proceeded to give me the haircut that he wanted and not the one that i asked for. I told him i wanted to keep the length of my hair the same and instead he cut it short all around my head. I don’t understand how what was supposed to be a quick, maybe 10 minute trim turned into an hour long makeover. The haircut itself was also painful, I don’t know what he was using to cut my hair with but it felt like each strand of my hair was being ripped out one by one. I have to say im almost impressed at how well he didn’t follow my request and messed up my hair, it’s unbelievable. I’d give you 0 stars if I could, I miss my hair and i will not be coming back.

This was easily the worst hair cutting experience I have ever had. The guy with the purple hair, piercings, and tattoos who cut my hair (didn't catch his name since he didn't even bother to introduce himself) was the single most unpleasant barber I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. It was extremely clear to me the entire time that he did not want to be there, and did not want to be cutting my hair. He was totally disinterested in me from the moment I walked in the door and continued to behave as such for the entirety of the duration of the cut. On top of acting extremely impatient and as if he just wanted to get me out the door, he took an unfathomably long time to cut my hair. He kept fumbling around at his station, looking for things as if he didn't even know where they were kept, and the cherry on top was when he spent what felt like 10 minutes googling Donald Trump's felony count and showing me his phone to read what it said. Finally, he didn't even do what I asked! I requested a 1 to 2 guard mid-high fade. What I received is what I can only assume to be a 2 to 4 guard low fade. He also didn't really cut any layers into my hair, which I specifically requested. I had also booked for a hair washing and eyebrow trimming, but after dealing with his horrible attitude and his exasperation after I asked him to fix the fade, I simply gave up, and told him to skip it, especially since it had already been almost an hour, and I was afraid my parking meter would expire.

Best barber in the downtown area! I love I can make a appointment often same day and know I don't have to wait. The team there knows their stuff. I have had cuts from them all and been happy with them all. If you are downtown and need cut, this is the place.

I was feeling shaggy And I certainly need a haircut I highly recommend this place. Amazing job and my 19 yo daughter said I had a “Fresh Looking” haircut. 5-stars for sure since that’s the highest I can give them. I am from out of town, Fresno, California to be exact. I looked online and surprisingly found a Gem. I Definitely will return the next time I am in Phoenix.
