Wally, our 15 year old cat, began having breathing issues late on a Sunday afternoon. From the moment we walked into Thrive, the staff was incredibly compassionate and attentive. They took time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and treated Wally with genuine care and respect. The facility was clean, modern, and well organized. We met with Dr. Ready. She clearly understood that Wally was family, and we wanted to ensure he was comfortable. We made the decision to have Wally stay overnight for diagnostics and to benefit from an oxygen kennel. The next morning, Thrive sent the diagnostic information to Wally's primary vet to ensure everyone was on the same page. We returned to Thrive, and met with Dr. Montgomery to review Wally's test results. Our guy was not doing well. Dr. Montgomery gently and patiently walked us through our options. Wallace Albie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12.22.25, calmly, comfortably and surrounded by family that loves him dearly. The folks at Thrive showed the utmost respect, kindness, and professionalism during one of the most difficult moments in a pet family's life. We are truly grateful, and I highly recommend Thrive without hesitation... exceptional care.
Writing this after getting 2 different 2nd opinions and 2 days after my visit. Arrived with my 20 week old puppy. She was vomiting and having trouble going to the bathroom. I (first time puppy owner) didn't know what to do and went to her vet. Friday (11/27)- noticed accident and took my puppy that morning. Vet said we recommend anti-nausea and water for rest. If worse, come back to go to pet hospital. No x-rays taken. Parvo test was negative. Saturday (11/28)- I had to come to this hospital since the accident was worse this time. The front desk ladies where sweet. Nurse was good. Doctor came is and immediately wanted to take x-rays to see (understandable). Once she came back and $800 later, she came back and said there's was gas and a "very small unknown item not causing blockage". She wanted an additional $1,600 to hold over night with new x-rays. If no change, then surgery with an additional $3,800 price tag. Once I told them I want to get a second opinion, the doctor started guilt tripping me to the negatives of not acting now, which they were just gonna put her in a cage and wait anyway. Wasted time. Also wanted me to take a line of credit for it. Left and went to another vet i found that works weekends and also made a call to another office. Both said to feed pumpkin with water and watch her. Puppy napped for 12 hours and woke up to eat pumpkin. She lost a tooth. The 2nd vet said since she is teething nausea is normal and matches what I am seeing. Now its Sunday (11/30) and she's back to her normal sell. Barking and chasing toys loving everyone, just teething. This place wanted me to take a loan for teething side effects. Clearly unprofessional and untrained.
I was referred here by town and country vet hospital. These people saved my cat’s life and looked over him as if he was their own. He was seen by town and country Friday for a pee blockage. And my cat was recommended to continue supervised care at thrive for the next two days. Thrive gave me constant updates and always made me feel welcome. Worth every cent. Thank you all for saving my life as well. My son is back home and thriving!
This review is long overdue, but we cannot thank Thrive enough. Dr. Tran cared for our doodle, Scout, from the moment we brought her in and acted quickly and decisively to get her better. She immediately recognized the foreign body in Scout’s small intestine and was able to perform surgery before any serious damage occurred. Her expertise, compassion, and calm bedside manner made us feel comfortable right away and reassured us that Scout was in the very best hands. We are so incredibly grateful and highly recommend Thrive. We would trust them without hesitation for any of our emergency pet needs.
First i would like to say front desk was very friendly. The first night i brought in my grandson Loki they took really good care of him. I admit there were questions i didnt know i needed to ask when he was released the 1st time.. NOW the Drs who took care of Loki on his first trip were very warm and friendly. . I had to end up taking him back because his blockage wasnt fully clear.. The new dr lacked compassion and was really worried about what i could afford. Had i had the right questions i would have asked that he stay an additional night.. but anywho. overall they took care of him and now with better understanding of his condition and now his new way of living moving forward Ill make sure to do as instructed. I would have love to give them all 5 stars, but the 2nd dr after being returned just wasnt like the others. BUT I will say if I have any emergency for any of my pets Ill bring them here if my primary vet is not available. Even with it being super busy during the times I was there and I was there daily. My experience was not terrible.. it was better than expected.
