Julie has an engaging and warm teaching style, and my daughter looks forward to her lessons every week. My daughter loves building skills with Julie, and also appreciates that if there's a particular piece that she's interested in learning, Julie will find the music for her. Julie has even arranged pieces my daughter wanted to play, making them accessible for her skill level. The best thing about watching her progress has been seeing my daughter excited to try new things and experiment with music. Julie has created an atmosphere where my daughter is challenged while also finding joy in music. The online format works perfectly for our family, and my daughter finds it easy to use. We feel lucky that our daughter has such a caring and accomplished teacher, and highly recommend Julie's studio.
Julie is a great teacher. She is encouraging and enthusiastic with my daughter and considers what my daughter is interested in playing when choosing practice pieces. My daughter's favorite part of lessons is showing off something she's practiced and playing musical Jeopardy. And as a parent with a busy schedule, I appreciate that the lessons are online--no need to drive across town! And when we move out of state, we can continue to work with Julie! Can't recommend highly enough.
