I had a great experience with Juan on the walking tour. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about the city’s history, culture, and architecture. The tour was well-organized and gave us really good coverage of downtown Edmonton. I discovered places I wouldn’t have found on my own. Juan made the walk enjoyable,. Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the city in a fun and informative way!

Walking tour review: Hailey provided a terrific overview of Edmonton on my first visit to the city! She was knowledgeable and friendly. The sites visited and commentary covered just the right amount of history, arts and culture. There were great photo ops along the way. About 1.5 hours into the tour, we had a short washroom and water break. I even got a couple of extra tips about how the public transit works, and where to eat pierogies for lunch! Highly recommended!

I had a great time on the Toonie Tours free walking tour in Edmonton! Ethan was a fantastic guide — super friendly and full of positive energy. He brings a fresh, youthful perspective to the city’s history, and I really appreciated the way he shared both historical context and personal insights. The tour felt well-rounded and engaging from start to finish. I learned a lot about Edmonton while also enjoying the atmosphere and hidden corners of the city that I probably wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Big congratulations to Toonie Tours for putting together such a solid experience. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting or even locals wanting to see their city in a new light!

Eathan from Toonie Tours helped form my first impression of Downtown Edmonton. Even though everybody else had cancelled, the event wasn't rescheduled and I got to enjoy a private tour with him, which I was very thankful for ... especially because I got to take all the photos I wanted. Three hours went by quickly. Edmonton native Eathan was very friendly, well organized and had answers to all of my questions – either right away, or with a short delay. I did get a feeling for the city, as well as an idea which places I want to return to and get to know better, or would like to also visit while here. "Tipping" (this is not really a "free walking tour", but it sounds better than "From C$30 per person") is made easy: you can do so either in cash or by card.
