Disappointed After 10+ Years as a Loyal Patient I've been coming to this office for over 10 years, and my entire family loves Dr. Walker and Dr. Buerger. Unfortunately, today's experience with the new front desk staff, Twan, was extremely disappointing. I arrived 14 minutes late and was met with a complete lack of empathy--he refused to accommodate me and told me to come back four hours later, even though the office was empty and a pretest room was available where I could have been accommodated between appointments. Patients often wait when doctors run behind, yet there was no flexibility or understanding in return. The dismissive and cold attitude I experienced is not how loyal or any patient should be treated. Sadly, after years of trusting this practice, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The entire Team at Golden Hills Optometry is fantastic. I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for my appointment. Dr. Samy is both professional and friendly. Amanda went above and beyond to help me find the right pair of eyeglasses and the best use for my insurance. I ordered contacts and was given trial pairs to hold me over until they come in the mail. Thank you!

I've been going to Dr. Burger for over 20 years, and he has been my family's optometrist for even longer. He has always provided us with exceptional care, and we're going to miss him dearly as he moves into retirement. Congratulations, Dr. Burger! Over the years, Dr. Burger has been much more than just a doctor to us. He has been a kind and patient friend who has taken care of our eye health with great expertise and care. From the moment we walk into his office, we feel like we're part of his family. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and Dr. Burger's knowledge and experience are truly impressive. It's bittersweet to see Dr. Burger retire, but we're grateful for all the years he has dedicated to taking care of our eyes. He has been an important part of our lives, and we will miss him greatly. Congratulations, Dr. Burger, on your retirement! You deserve all the happiness and relaxation that this new chapter brings.

We have been going to Golden Hills Optometry for many, many years. We always had the most positive experience and enjoyed our visits. The office staff is very friendly and courteous. We feel treated like family every time we go there. Moreover, Dr. Burger is wonderful! He is very knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to, and truly caring. Best doctor! We are blessed to have him. The selection of frames is great and the staff is helpful when choosing what works best for you. I highly recommend Golden Hills Optometry.

Excellent service! My wife and I have been seen here since early 2015. Dr Lee and Dr Burger, the receptionists have all taken very care of us! They are super professional, highly respectful, considerate! Before every appointment, we could get an email reminder, a call to confirm, and they always went through all the details with us with great attention and patience! We’d recommend this optometry to every one of our family and friends!
