This first Total Wine in San Francisco proper and wonderfully located near Costco, Trader Joe’s, Best Buy and more. I stop in here every time I’m in the City and always pick up a few bottles and the odd bargain bottle. Their selection is wide and deep in pretty much every category - wine, spirits, beer, and NALA. I’ve never made it to a class or a tasting there but I hear that they do a great job with them. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store seems to be getting busier each time I visit which I hope means that this TW location is here to stay. Sláinte

I was so excited to visit this store and was sadly so disappointed when I finally did! Their supposed "deals" are just their own prices lowered from an exaggerated price to a few bucks lower which are higher than even Safeway! So where's the deal there??? I was almost forced to create an account with them on my first visit. Which they promised would get me discounts in the future, but til now , nothing. If anything, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place but not much else. Im over them, frankly.

The only Total wine & more in San Francisco and this place is nice, safe and clean. Upon entering with armed guards outside which provides a sense of peace and security to entering a store of every drinkers paradise. You will see unique and odd bottle designs and every spirit/wine and canned cocktails you can imagine. If you are celebrating something or want to try something that most liquors do not have, I would recommend this place.

Total Wine & More located in SF near Costco and Best Buy is a new kid on the block. This location was previously a Staples store but just recently opened as a chain beverage store. I usually shop at the San Mateo location but decided to shop near my office in SF. I love the massive tequila selection. The SF store was quiet when I visited so I hope this location survives.
