Lol… Variety is the spice of life. This place has EVERYTHING. The attentive staff can help you quickly find whatever you need, and their Gate City Blvd location is a cinch to find and always has plenty of parking. Recommend: Not Your Father’s Root Beer 6pk Any of their THC infused drinks are my second fave❤️

We have shopped here for a while now however we were just shopping for some holiday drinks and an employee approached us to ask if we needed help (I think he was the manager by the way he dressed and talked, caucasian male, about 6ft, 65 or older with glasses). My husband asked if they sold something and the employee said “No, yall must not be from NC” ….first of all we have lived here our whole lives but again we do not know everything about laws and drinking because we still are very young. My husband then said “Oh sorry, I was asking because it showed online” then the employee proceeded to interrupt my husband and say “Yea and also the internet says that the military has been chasing/catching UFOs for years” …my family started walking away and my husband immediately told the employee “Thank you for your time.” And starts to walk away from the rude employee. However, the employee starts walking with us around the store and continues to talk and explain stuff that is irrelevant to the situation. I call my husband to say (in front of the employee, loud enough for him to hear) that we do not have to take disrespect like that and that we should pay and leave. My husband away tries to end the conversation but the employee continues to ignore what he says and now starts to follow us all the way to the front of the store and to the registers and now we have asked this employee to leave us alone twice and we felt very uncomfortable. The employee does all this to prove his point that we shouldn’t believe everything the internet says. We felt very disrespected and now the employee keeps following my family after my husband tried ending the conversation twice…At this point I’m getting in line to pay because my anxiety is through the roof and I care for the safety of my family….we did not even finish shopping we just wanted to get out of that situation and to safely. We felt very offended, disrespected and unsafe. No one should be placed in a situation where you feel that way and unsafe after telling someone to basically leave us alone without us being rude ourselves…I suffer from anxiety and that situation made me start having an anxiety attack. We probably will not be back no time soon or ever.

This place is went downhill went in there yesterday to pick up some brew as I was traveling back from Charlotte and decided to pick up a beer that had the employees favorites picture next to it but when I got home I realized that they are selling beer that was bottled in 2023 that is wildly out of date I could have gotten sick off of this. If it is the so-called employees favorite beer why wouldn't you check the dates on it.

Great team members who will help you find what you're looking for; the management is great too! I was returning a keg to only get my deposit back, and I also wanted to try out a six-pack of craft beer. I know it doesn't sound complex, but because I was getting back the deposit, the six-pack of craft beer was just subtracted from that amount. The new team member checking me out was lost; she said, "Hey, I'm still a little new here, so just let me check to see if I'm doing it right." The manager working at the time came over to the register and walked her through the process. I have worked for a lot of people and have done a lot of things. I love seeing team members who still care and remember that we are all human and management who takes the time to teach and lift up their coworkers. This is how "it" works, folks! Oh yeah, great beer selection too.
