Been by Trees of Mystery a few times but never stopped and went in. Stopped and went in today even though the tram was down again, they said it would be going sometime in February. It was a nice fun experience with some amazing trees the largest we saw was nineteen feet in diameter. Lots of cool carvings along the path. The Sky Walk was absolutely amazing and fun there's 5-7 sky bridges and different levels approximately 100ft high at the tallest bridge. Nice fun informative time. Would have been better with the tram running but still a good time. Huge gift shop which is free and good spot for free photo opps.
Great place to hang out with kids. The bridges across tall teees were amazing and so was gondola. Trekking down from gondola is not possible with kids would have loved to do it.
A good theme park in the redwoods. Main attractions are brotherhood tree, elephant tree and cathedral tree. The rope walk is good too. There is a gondola ride which takes up the hill for panaromic views of the ocean and the forest. Lots of parking available. Price: I felt $30 is a bit expensive for the entry.
Trees of Mystery is a must visit if you are anywhere North of San Francisco on 101 in California. Exciting tree trails, air trails ( gondola), and the best gift shop in Humboldt! The wood carvings are super cool along with all the trees! Don’t forget Paul and Babe!! Take your time and enjoy looking at all the plants an undergrowth along the trail! Glowing mushrooms, crazy ferns, too many awesome things to mention!
Spent several hours wandering around this amazing property. The trees do not disappoint. The sky bridge was great, made me a little dizzy but definitely worth it. The tram offered good views. I would reccomend taking it back down rather than the mile long hike as it was very steep and slippery. Don't skip the museum, the amount and types of artifacts is definitely worth the time.
