Fun place. Lots of stairs to climb. Younger college crowd, but they don't mind ppl of all ages. Good atmosphere.

Tugboat Gallery is one of the most exciting art spaces in LNK: this nonprofit gallery curated regional and national artists who are exploring multiple mediums unafraid to engage in social or political content. This gallery is truly FOR and BY artists. They only take a 25% commission on the sale of work which is only recommended no required. All the organizers have been volunteering their time for years. I also love the Lincoln Bike Art Tour, now Porch-Art-Palooza they organize in the community!🎨🌻💖

Despite what another reviewer had to say, the interior of the Tugboat Gallery is markedly unlike a crack house. The fact that any artist can rent a gallery here means that visitors can appreciate a wide variety of media and artist backgrounds. Overall I'd say this is definitely worth a stop.

I've never been during the day just during First Fridays so that's what this review is about. The place is very poorly lit to begin with. It has an air of what I imagine and crack house would look and feel like inside. There are lots of dark places and weird smells. Also, during first Fridays there is always a lot of people walking around with beers being loud and abnoxious. The place consists of several small galleries with up and coming artists. During first Fridays only around half of the galleries are open. I would not recommend taking children here. I would not recommend going here alone as it's weird. I would not recommend going here if you like clean places.

Always on my "must stop" list for First Friday. If you have time for only one show, this is the one. If you miss First Friday, stop into Gomez Art Supply and ask to see the show.
