Took my ipad in for a screen replacement on a Thursday. Was told it would take a week. They rave about being a fast turned around. Okay so I can wait a week. After a week I had to call a couple times to get the status. Was notified my ipad was done. Went and pick it up. I initially did a quick inspection , and the ipad seemed to be okay. After arriving home, upon further inspection, looks like they must have had trouble getting the old broken screen off. The edge of the case where the glass meets the case was chewed up in several different places. They must have used metal tools. Not plastic tools. Who does that? I thought the screen looked like it had either debris on it or it was actually like chip mark's. Like perhaps the new screen was defective. But looking closer, it's actually fine glass chips, apparently from the old broken screen that they didn't get cleaned out before they put the new screen on. Is the ipad usable? Sure, I can still use it. But the fact is the attention to detail is just not there. I watched a couple videos of the screens being replaced. And while it does take quite a bit of skill, this should have been a simple job for a qualified technician. Some people are just not cut out to be technicians. So based on my personal experience. If you don't care about what your item will necessarily look like when you get it back as far as scratches and knicks? I guess the jobs okay. But if you're looking for the repair to be done , right? My recommendation is go elsewhere. And it wasn't like the screen replacement was cheap , either. Looks like they do quite a bit of apologizing for bad experiences and the quality of the repair work. They usually offer to make it right. But in my opinion if you did it right the first time , you wouldn't have to be apologizing and offer to make it right to second time. Besides, I'm afraid if I took it back for them to make it right, it would just be worse than it is now. I'm just giving it one hundred percent honest review. So after 2 months, I pick the iPad up to use it and the screen is coming loose on 1 side!!! What a bunch of crap. They say they know how to fix these screens? Run find some other place. I just wasted my money. If I could give them a zero stars I would. Garbage repair job. And I know it's not waterproof after they do a screen replace, but this is ridiculous. You get any water close to this?And it would be right in there. The fingerprint button or the home button, it wasn't right from day one I don't think they got it in there, right. Jeez what a bunch of clowns
Really great experience having my laptop repaired! They even transferred my sticker over. They are always friendly and knowledgeable here. I have come here many times and will keep coming. I didn't have to wait; I got there a little after 4pm.
Do not know the names of the people that diagnosed my cell phone issue and wud like to commend them for discovering my battery was kaput. I was so pleased that the cost to me was less than $100 as opposed to a new phone purchase. The store i dealt with was personable, professional & i felt i could trust them with my information. This location won't do you right. I had an issue with my charging port and had called Samsung (an S25, a new phone). They had told me there was a known issue affecting some phones and that it was covered by the warranty. This location was on the list of authorized repair places I could go for a free repair. When I got there... different story. The woman wasn't rude, but she wasn't helpful either. First she tried to blame the issue on me and said it wasn't covered. Then when I explained water damage was not the call, she made up scenarios where it was anyhow, and held me accountable to her fanfiction. Finally she said "well, even if it wasn't water damage, it's still accidental damage which isn't covered". She wanted to charge me $150 for my free repair. I was actually going to capitulate as I really needed the phone, but then she said they didn't have the part in stock and it wouldn't be in until two days before Christmas! (almost a week later). I asked if she could order the part just in case while I shopped around, and she said no, they would charge me a deposit. Lady, this is a best selling, modern, popular phone with a known defect. You're going to need more of these parts again! You should have had them in stock to begin with. Anyhow, I declined the service at that point, drove to the one on campus, and in about 90 minutes my phone was repaired free of charge. THAT location knew exactly what was going on, said "no problem" and got it done while I had lunch across the street. No hassle, no excuses, no nonsense. Moral of the story: The Bethel Road location is either lazy or incompetent, and certainly isn't the place to go for service. They will try to rip you off, and won't even rob you in a timely manner.
Horrific Service. Point blank. If you value even the SLIGHTEST CHANCE of salvaging your phone, you know... that little glimmer of hope.... Heed my warning. Stay away. Far away. I recieved my phone in WORSE condition then it was in before I brought it in there. Apparently they couldn't get into the developers options in settings... Therefore they couldn't do the Samsung quality check which I understand is their policy. So when they told me they couldn't get past that, that they couldn't do the service, and trashhhhed my phone beyond repair. uBreakWeBreak. Lesson learned.
