I searched for a good barber once I landed in St. Pete. I saw this place was voted best in town, so I went at 11:30 to get my hair touched up. There was no one there, and they turned me away anyway. If you treat the residents this poorly, or your business skills are that bad; I have to know why you work at the front desk at a barber shop. You don't turn away expensive walk-ins like that. I went down the street and got the best haircut so far! I'll never bother those folks at Uptown again. Ugh. I never said anything about "buying" a spot. You're staff didn't have anything for at least an hour. You can deny if you wish (I was there), unless you're the young Latina who turned me away, then you wouldn't know regardless. Thanks for your response, but I'd rather go to a super cuts. Terrible customer experience despite your opinion.

I recently visited Uptown Barber, and I had such a great experience. Delaney was so friendly and really listened to what I wanted. He did everything I asked for perfectly. Plus, he suggested a hair cream that I’ve been using ever since and absolutely love.

I made an appointment for my husband, I chose the uptown signature cut and beard trim $60 package. The barber didn't shampoo his hair, no hot and cold towels, no straight blade shave, no beard oil or skin tonic. He went in hair was cut and trimmed his beard way back (even though he requested for his beard to just be shaped). He had to fix his beard when he got home because one side was trimmed so much lower than the other side. I was disappointed trying to do something nice for my husband and he didn't even get the experience your reviews boast. Paid for a service and really the only satisfactory thing he received was hair cut and neck trim.

Lost all their best barbers and prices are crazy. If you need a cut go to 6920 22nd Ave N suite 119. Best fade in the Tampa Bay Area.
