We were able to get an appointment quickly for our acutely ill kitten. The exam was thorough and the team worked with us to develop a diagnostic plan with the highest returns. Dr. Paschall was matter of fact and gave us the best and worst case scenarios for our kitten. The practice is clean and the pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend this practice to anyone is Durham.
I have 1 cat and 2 puppies. They are all treated with love by everyone. Always professional and informative. Incredible staff. Even as walk in everything is handle quickly and efficiently without feeling rushed. They also have military discount for Veterans. Really appreciate the support. Im glad I have Urban Tails. Completely satisfied.
We used to use Cozy Kat in Raleigh but our vet retired and a friend recommended Urban Tails. Our cats had a very bad experience at a different vet in Morrisville. We live by the airport but Urban Tails is not much farther than other places we've been too. We just went there a few days ago and we are glad we did! Both our 18 month old kittens were nervous because of past experience. They wrapped both of them in towels when it was time to do the procedures. Initially we we just having them see one cat and brought his brother for emotional support. But they were able to adjust their schedule to check both. Much, much better experience than the other place. Everything administered by syringe, not by nose which freaked our cats at the other place. Plus the technician was actually doing their job helping. Even coming in and going out they make sure there are no other animals in the lobby. EDIT: They even found some medical issues that the previous vet never looked into, including a very mild heart murmur and intestinal parasites that they might have gotten from the shelter they were in or when they were ferals. It's better to know than to not know. And they were very patient with me when I asked a lot of questions by email and called me to answer them.
My dog and I just moved back to the area. I did not have a pet when I lived here previously so had no clue where to go. I picked Urban Tails as they were the highest rated in our area. I’m not sure why they have a 4.9 rating, it needs to be a 5! Everyone was so kind from the receptionist, to the tech, to the vet herself. I didn’t feel too rushed, and I felt heard and like the veterinary team really cared about my dog and my love for him. Any concerns I had were met with understanding and guidance, particularly on his food and allergies. My baby is 5, so I think and hope we have so much more time left - there’s no one else I would trust to partner with me on his life and health maintenance/journey. I don’t pick vets and groomers lightly, as my dog is my whole world. Having said that, being “that crazy dog mom,” I couldn’t recommend them more! I’m so very happy with the care my Enzo received, and the helpfulness of the staff in my decisions with his food change and trial allergy medication. Parking was easy and plentiful. The facility was very clean and welcoming, and easy to navigate. Getting on and off Taylor Rd was a breeze. I super appreciate everything about Urban Tails and very highly recommend them!
I could not recommend Urban Tails more highly! My husband and I recently moved abroad and needed to get EU and UK health certificates for our two cats. Rachel, the practice manager who handles USDA certifications, was outstanding! She was so cooperative and communicative. Our visits to the clinic have always been equally pleasant. We had visited a handful of times over the past few years when our primary vet was too busy. I The vets here have always been so gentle with our cats and I have found the pricing quite reasonable for the area. I wish that I had made the switch to Urban Tails years ago!
