Not surprised they are going out of business the way we were treated a few years back. In our 60s dressed like the rural people we are. Picked out a complete living room suite. Some little guy came by one time with his nose up. He disappeared. No one else wanted to help. So, we went to another store. Made a selection, whipped out the old AMEX card. Loaded our new living room suite and went back to the country. BTW, paid off card balance at the end of the month, as always. Living happly6 ever after.

We have been in the last few weeks of shopping for new bedroom furniture and in doing so every doorway we entered was met with some very aggressive sales people. One even asked me if I wanted to “start a relationship”. Working with Jesus was an unexpected pleasant surprise. He greeted us and then let us roam around. When we had questions he answered. At no point did I feel pressured or someone breathing down my back. Great job Jesus I think you will do a great job. FYI we did buy our furniture from him. There were a few other people that was very helpful as well.

Keith was super helpful and professional. I appreciate people who pay attention to detail and remember things. My boyfriend Braden came in a few days ago to shop for a new couch for our tiny apartment in Richmond. We came back a few days later and he greeted us by our names, which makes us feel welcomed and important. I’m impressed by his professionalism and friendliness. 10/10 would shop again 🥰🥰

We had a very good experience buying a bed and mattress set at Value City on Nicholasville Rd in Lexington KY. Brian and Jesus were very helpful and friendly. Brian showed us many beds for our spare bedroom and a mattress set to go on it. He helped us find the correct size bed to fit our room. He was very friendly and made the entire experience good. Jesus also was helpful and has helped us in the past as well. We will return to Value City if we need other furniture. Our furniture has been of good quality and lasted well. The delivery was on time and the young men who delivered the bed were very courteous and professional. I’m very satisfied!

Everyone there was friendly. But Jesus Mendoza is the one who helped us. He didn't smother us, was very informative about the product, and answered all my questions. He gave us space and went above and beyond through the entire process. I had forgotten my wallet at the register, and he tracked me down to make sure I got it back. He should be the standard of how people sell things. I hope he's there next time I go in.
