Got in immediately. Chlorine shock powder was flushed. Our sweet girl was completely taken care of in a compassionate, professional manner. She’ll be back swimming and playing fire hose toss by the end of the week—her favorite. So grateful! ☺️ ❤️👏
My cat ate a piece of yarn and I called to ask for some guidance. It was suggested that I bring her in to see if they could try to get her to throw it up, which can be very challenging with cats. I loved that I was given choices and prices upfront and when I asked for some advice, it was freely given. They said that they were pretty busy but would try to get me in as soon as possible. They took all of my information over the phone and got me in line before I even arrived. They took my kitty in very shortly after I arrived. The doctors came in and explained to me what they were going to try to do to get her to throw up the yarn and made sure all of my questions were answered. Ultimately, they were successful in getting her to throw up the piece of yarn which was such a huge relief! Everyone there was extremely friendly, kind, and caring. Definitely a 5 star experience.
By far, the best veterinary care I have ever received. The staff and technicians have always been so kind and caring, so patient and respectful. My dog was given a short life expectancy and diagnosed with serious health issues—having her seen by a physician at VCA Valley was a last hope, as things did not look good for my furry friend. Dr. Bailey, was patient with my dog and my hurricane of anxious questions and fear-ladened concerns. She is a kind-hearted, animal-loving vet and I hope all dogs who suffer with an illness are fortunate enough to have a vet as kind, gentle and brilliant as Dr. Bailey is. Her approach set my dog on the path to recovery, finding and resolving an undiagnosed issue that had plagued my dog’s health for years. I am so glad, my dog’s former vet recommended VCA Valley for a second opinion. Bringing my dog here was the very best decision I could have ever made.
I have had experiences with Dr Mcreedy and amazing techs with prior fur babies of 14 15 plus years of, well being a grateful pet owner. Absolutely 100 percent out of my budget, But honesty and kind staff. 48 hours ago I had two K9 pups litter mates, one presented symptoms of parvo. Took her in, waiting waiting and after 900$ and following all recommendations, puppy, passed. A nightmare. The sister, litter mates other than confused seemed well. Tonight, first vomit. Not messing around this time. They all deserve a chance. Valley, knowing what 900$ and a pup that didn't make it was not honest enough for us to know what to do this time around. Here we are back again and being treated by techs with zero empathy for what we experienced literally two days ago, or what the puppers did. $$$$$$ second puppers has parvo as well...just heard. ?? Zero compassion from staff. Veterinarians have compassion, the people that bill you, and greet you, and literally are working at a place nobody wants to be at should have some sort of sensitivity training. The current staff at Valley has lost that. But we still pay thousands of dollars. My father is a primary care physician that would fix you whether or not you can pay, he took an oath. These pups couldn't even have relief or recommended relief without it costing 900$, not even a hey sorry about the other puppers, let's give this one a chance. And not even a kind compassionate empathetic tech. Maybe it's one bad experience, but when it comes to two instances in 72 hours and 2000$. Well plumbers and vets are millionaires, and people need to do better with staff sensitivity training. Because again, nobody wants to go to the vet. So who cares more for animals?... The owners of animals? Or the Veterinary clinics. Well, that's an easy answer.
This is a good choice if you have an urgent situation. Dr Appleton was compassionate, diligent and genuinely caring. I was very confident leaving Max in her care. I did have some feedback for the team to make a challenging situation a bit better and I was very pleased that they took my feedback to heart. I would go here again. Thank you for caring for Max so well - it was a very unexpected and heart breaking time in my little family. A total surprise was the very sweet note I received from the team that cared for Max. It was a very welcome and thoughtful sentiment that was helpful at my time of grief. Thank you again.
