I can't say enough good things about the staff here. Everyone is wonderful and so caring and patient. I brought my sweet senior boy cat here in September for some tests and oxygen when he wasn't doing well. They were great about offering testing & treatment options with pricing upfront and adjusting as needed based on what I was comfortable with both physically being done and also able to pay for. (They accept carecredit which is a lifesaver!) They handled my boy really well, for being scared and intact he hated being picked up, but they were able to get everything done without much fuss. They did xrays and gave me some info on what seemed to be going on and recommended further testing such as a CT scan and gave a list of places I could have one done if I chose to as well as possible outcomes based on what the CT scan could show. While I was there it got busy, and seeing the team work together on all the different animals, especially the most critical cases, it was more than obvious that the people who work here actually care. And they worked so well together, it was really amazing to see. Unfortunately I had to bring my boy back about 4 months after my first visit here, as his condition was progressing and he was unable to live and breathe comfortably anymore. It was the hardest decision of my life to end his suffering, but the staff was so lovely and sweet. The Dr gave me a realistic idea of a timeline and possible outcomes if I decided to wait it out, and never once seemed pushy or overly suggestive one way or the other. We ended up saying goodbye to my best little buddy later that day and for the hardest experience ever, it couldn't have been more calm and peaceful thanks to the staff here. I would recommend them a thousand times for anything and everything. We requested a mild sedative after a few hours as my cat couldn't relax enough to get some love and cuddles before our goodbye and it was well worth the extra fee to have that time with him. I highly recommend asking for it. They never rushed us, and said we could spend as much time with him as needed before we let them know it was time. They have a separate room for privacy to spend time with your pet away from the hustle of the ER area. They offered snacks and beverages as we didnt expect initially to spend so many hours there that day and it was really helpful. We chose to have some ink paw prints done (no charge) and then take him home after to bury privately. Its been a little over a week now and I'm still grieving, but I'm so endlessly thankful that I chose to come here over anywhere else. They also let you stay with your pet every single step if you'd like to, so you never have to be separated which I believe makes a huge difference.
Writing this brings the happiest tears I’ve ever had. I truly don’t have the words to thank this team for the miracle they performed. My cat suffered a life-threatening urinary blockage that, by all accounts, he shouldn’t have survived. But he’s home today, and it’s entirely because this ER has as much heart as they do skill. The scariest moment of my life was made bearable because they refused to separate us and they did absolutely everything they possibly could to save Bodhi’s life. When I was falling apart, they didn't just point me to a waiting room; they brought me blankets and pillows and set up a place for me to stay right next to him all through the night. They let me be his comfort and him be mine while they worked to save his life. I never felt alone, and more importantly, neither did my baby. They were keeping me aware and updated from beginning to end and every step of the plan. I never had to wonder if he was being loved. Dr. Yang, thank you for having the faith that he would make it even when the odds were so thin. Your hope gave me strength when I had none left. And Elisa, thank you for being his snuggler, best friend, and safe comfort during his most stressful, vulnerable, and scary moments. He is so grateful and happy to have had you by his side. He couldn’t have gone through this without you. You have been his guardian angel during the hardest time of his life. Seeing the way you loved him and held him through his struggle meant everything to me. You didn't just treat a patient—you cared for a soul and to the fullest extent. The same as I do for him. It made the biggest impact in his recovery. This ER went so far above and beyond anything I could have ever expected. They saved my baby’s life, but they also protected and saved mine by making sure I was okay and comforted me when I was scared and broken in pieces too. I will never, ever forget the kindness we found here. Thank you for giving me more time with my baby and saving his life. You are all heroes in my eyes. Without all of you, Bodhi wouldn’t be snuggled up next to me and on his journey to living his best life. I am beyond grateful to you. Thank you so so much for all that you do and continue to do. I could never express my love for your dedication. Bodhi loves you all so very much🤍
Highly recommend this location! My kitten got splashed with laundry detergent sanitizer and wasn’t looking good. I initially went to a different emergency vet where I was told there was a 4 to 5 hour wait. I then went to VEG and was taken care of the moment I walked through the door. I’m so glad that I chose this location. The team here is top notch and so sweet. My baby was in good hands and we were in and out in about 2 hours, feeling better and meds in hand. This will now be my primary ER vet due to a great experience. Being allowed to stay with your fur baby the entire time they receive treatment is a great way to handle pet care.
The whole crew at VEG in Anaheim Hills was awesome with our dog, Lady, who chomped down 15 peanut butter cups (lethal amount of chocolate) around 8pm. Stephanie got to work right away and was amazing getting the chocolate “out.” It was tense for a bit but the overnight stay was as comfy as possible and Lady’s condition turned around quickly. We were able to go home earlier than expected. Thank you to Sidhom, Yang, Elisa, Drea, Holly and Elle as well for your friendly and compassionate care for Lady and me. Hopefully won’t see you all soon but won’t go anywhere else now for our pet emergencies.
I called ahead of time to see if they had space for me and even through the phone I could feel their kindness. I was transparent with them that I am very nervous to take my dog to an ER and they understood and were so patient. From the moment we walked in my ROSSY and I ended up staying for 2 days. My favorite part about this place is the open layout, so you can be with your pet the whole time. Then they let me stay with ROSSY over night in a comfortable room, never separated us (only for x rays but I could still see through a glass), always asked me and informed me before any blood pull or medication administration. I was always a little scared rossys full issue wouldn’t be communicated to the next nurse or doctor but there was zero issue and each nurse and doctor was just as informed as the previous one and each cared and was kind. They treated us so well and the reviews describe exactly how the service is, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and all good things. We are now home and rossy is feeling better but I’m beyond happy I ended up taking Rossy here. I love how they honestly cared and would check in on both of us. The staff is incredible and I’m so thankful!
