Virgil’s has the widest selection of house plants I’ve found in KC, accompanied by outstandingly kind and caring staff. I just moved here and have looked into a few different local plant stores and Virgil’s stands out by a long shot. The staff there treat your plants with the same care and energy you’d want a pediatrician to give your first born. This store is my happy place, so if you live close enough go give them a look (and potentially all of your money if you’re a plant lover like me).

This shop is just adorable! Plants were amazing and healthy, staff was so knowledgeable, and they provide care instructions for each plant you buy. They also invite you to share pics of the plants if they are in distress to get some advice on care.

I came here yesterday after getting a cute pot from world market. Reba was very kind and knowledgeable, she offered to drill holes in the bottom of my new pot & assemble my new plant. She helped me figure out which plant I wanted and even gave me a care tag that explained how to care for my new plant. On top of fantastic customer service, the vibe in the shop was immaculate. There was so much greenery and I loved the music they were playing. I will definitely be back!
