I went to the cafe and The matcha tasted like nothing but the atmosphere is cute and aesthetic bc it’s in a book store. I would say there’s good selection of seats there’s 2 charging port at the long table. Serves food but when I asked they said only pastries as I watch them hand out another dish of avocado toasts….

Came in to buy another book and was taken in by the ‘happy hour’! ( one and one for half price) Really lovely (on the basement? Floor) the staff were very nice and the cocktails are good too, for a bookshop vibes 10/10. Browsing 10/10. And cocktails I’ll do a 8/10 because while it’s not a bar it’s still good drinks and happy hour!

Great book store, very easy to get to. Happy hour cocktails, what's not to like.

The staff in the basement cafe today are quite unpleasant. My latte was not made hot, and it went cold quite quickly. So I just asked them if they could kindly make it again and they said they would charge me again! Couldn’t believe it. Some people should not work in hospitality, especially in a lovely bookshop like this. Just seen another customer ask this member of staff, right in front of my eyes, why she was so annoyed with her! I said I had the same experience!

My favorite place to visit in London! I Love the cozy atmosphere of working in the cafe, enjoying their hot chocolate and cookies. It’s even better that I can stroll around the books while sitting in the cafe. Such a relaxing spot!
